Question:	Could this be use with a cellphone without any mounting device
Answer:	Possibly… I wanted mine mounted over the stem, so I taped the center of this item to the horizontal part, leaving the corners exposed, and that's doing what I want. I think that if you were attaching it to the handle bar itself, this device would have the stretch to go all the way around- that is, center under and corners on top of the phone.
