| Answer: | I wear size 12 and the clips give me good alignment over the pedal for pushing down. The clips are somewhat flexible and so can probably take at least up to size 15 in terms of their ventral to dorsal (bottom to top) thickness, but whether they provide optimal position over the spindle for such bigger sizes I couldn't say for sure. I have noted that when I align the pedal to the ball of my feet, for instance for climbing a steep grade, there is perhaps 1/2 inch of extra space between the toe of the pedal and the toe of my shoe. I suspect that the pedals will fit a size or two above my size 12. Please note, however, that these clips are no substitute for a more secure shoe to pedal union. I used an "SPD" or Shimano touring pedal for several years and always found it much superior for sustaining maximum speed or for distance. The Delta clips are a delight in city traffic because of the ease in slipping out of them. |

| Answer: | I would say they are mostly anti-slip. I don't have to reposition my feet like I did without them on standard pedals, so just that has improved efficiency. I like them a lot for frequent stopping, easy in and out. For me, the upstroke power is limited in tennis shoes just because they don't offer much protection to my big toe nails, which rub on the clip and get sore after many miles, but I find that goes away in a cycling shoe that is more rigid. I honestly forget I have them until I have to stop. I like them a lot. |
