Answer:	Remove the handlebar tape from your left (traffic) side handle bar. Install the mirror, tape it in place with a little electrical tape to check the angle. Go for a short ride (driveway, down the street and back) with your hands in the most-used position, make adjustments to the angle of the mirror so you can see behind you (could take a few test rides) then reinstall your bar tape over the mirror. It was actually very easy to do.

Answer:	It is, I believe, a 1 1/8 inch stem. There are adapters available to raise the handlebars, but I think they are as high as they can get otherwise.
