Answer:	I have not bought the black/blue chain, only the gold and silver, but it should come with a reusable link. KMC sells missing links in all the different speed chains that can be used for any chain (KMC, SRAM, Shimano). My local bike shop carries them but you can get them on the internet at most any bike retailer. Not sure if they come in various colors.

Answer:	buy the KMC Missing links...however you will need to get 2 regular links from another chain... the (KMC missing links) simply replace the male part of regular chain links and therefor offer no extension arrangement on their own....however they will serve a coupler for the addition regular chain links in your application.....in my opinion this works better than using chain pins
