Answer:	Somewhat decent. It depends on what you're talking about as far as cold I can ride all day with them on if it's 30 something degrees out in my hands will not get cold. But you have to think on the fingers and the tips are air holes yeah they're about the size of a needle. However obviously they're made for air to get through but I would highly recommend them actually I literally took them off about 5 minutes ago because I was just out on my bike and I live in New Hampshire and it just snowed this morning. They're very good gloves. And affordable.

Answer:	Saying they are water resistant is a stretch and they are most definitely not waterproof. The touch screen fingertips have zero water resistantance. Placing the glove in water for even a couple seconds and the water soaks through the rest of the glove.

My new gloves fit perfect. I am a 60-year-old, chubby(240ish pounds), 5 feet 8inch tall man that looks like Santa Claus. Beard and all. Large sized gloves fit my hands quite snugly. So, "My" answer to your question is; Unless they(the children) are very big, no these gloves are not for children.

Answer:	I would hand wash, roll in towel to absorbe as much moisture and air dry. I used netted washing bags and in the dryer the felt began to fray
