Mount to the Frame not to the Axle.

Our Patented Heavy Duty Adult training wheels are the strongest and most durable bike training wheel kit on the market. They are made of tubular steel much like the frame of the bike. They do not attach to the axle which is a weak mounting point. They mount to the rear chain and seat stays on either side of the bicycle frame using special plastic coated u-bolts. Answer:	I had also wondered about this and was told that because I have low back pain it would be better to get the 24" because the handles were higher and there would be less 'reaching' bending over that I would have to do with the 26" - And I am almost 5'6" - But I've not bought one yet because I would prefer to 'check' one out first.hope this helps someone.
