Answer:	Check the front wheel frame. It should be pointed out to the front. If it is pointing toward the back your feet will hit the tire when you turn.

Answer:	It does not scratch easily. My guess is that the paint is baked in which would make it impossible to scratch. I love the colors on the bike. The black spokes won't rust although I keep it inside.

Answer:	that shouldn't be a problem, it is not turning with any force going forward, I suspect. It will turn with force if you move the bike in reverse though. That is the nature of the cog wheel.
