That way all your weight is not on the rear!! You still have to pedal a little going up hills but with the pedal assist you never break a sweat!! I can go about 25 miles full throttle at 43miles per hour - top speed on a flat!!!- no wind!! If you average 10 miles per hour with no wind against you you could travel about 55miles!!! The more you pedal the more miles you will get on a charge.
Question:	Will this work with a 48v, 15AH Battery
Answer:	yes, what matters is the voltage. Typically you can get away with up to a 52V system as well. (mine is setup this way)

Answer:	The wires are color coded so just place red to red. You don't need four batteries. One 1000w battery pack will work. It must be a 1000w battery.
Question:	How wide does the rear triangle need to be to fit the hub? I have a narrow single-speed bike and am worried from reviews it won't fit
Answer:	Great Question! The quick answer is the rear triangle needs to be much wider than a single speed. I have installed this kit on 2 different multi-speed bikes and had to widen the triangle on each one. I don't have specific measurements to give you but you will need to cold form the triangle to fit the hub. It is not hard to do if you are handy with tools. Other questions you need to ask are... Brakes. If you have a single speed with a coaster brake, Forget it. You will need to get a caliper type break kit (and a good one at that). Second is you are going to have a multi gear rear wheel with no derailier. Adjusting the chain so it stays on is going to be difficult at best. you could swap out the multi gear freewheel for a single speed but that will open up more problems and not solve the braking problem.My quick advice to you if you want to build one of these is to find a different bike. you will probably have to modify that as well but not as drastically. These things are a blast but you want to make sure you have a safe and solid set up.I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Answer:	Buy the best battery that you can afford. I also recommend that you go with the Lithium battery option and buy the largest Amp Hour (ah) rating that you can afford. The higher the ah the longer the range. You can find many options on Ebay but beware and carefully read about what exactly you are buying and where it comes from. After a lot of research I purchased my 48v (52v at full capacity) 20 ah battery pack from calibike.com as well. He met all the criteria that I was looking for including... Excellent price. The price included a top quality charger. Excellent built quality including the Battery Management System (BMS). He is located in the USA. I received my battery in less than a week. If you buy from over seas / China it can take a month or more to receive your order. I spoke to Calibike extensively via email and by phone before making my purchase. The owner was very happy to answer any and all my questions and was very prompt with replying. Take note of his recommendation on what size and type of fuse to get (the fuse set up with the kit is rubbish and you will soon be replacing it).That said, Also consider and plan for how you will carry/ attach the battery pack and ESC to your bike. The bag that comes with the kit is of poor quality and does not attach very securely nor will it last very long. As you are no doubt finding out the batteries cost more than the kit itself. Protect your investment.

Question:	Can it be used without the pas system connected
Answer:	In theory the winding coil could probably handle 60V but the lifespan would be much shorter. It already runs pretty hot at 48V when pushing 20 Amps through it.

Answer:	As i understand it you can't run two motors through one controller but you can use one throttle. I put two of these on my electric Trike but used seperate controllers, throttle and battery. Increased speed and gave it rediculous torque! Now I can use the second system only when needed and always have a "get home" backup.

Answer:	There is a hydraulic brake sensor that is compatible with this and other systems. It has the same connector and consists of a small box that has adhesive that you can attach to the area just above where your brake lever hinges and a magnet with a hole in the middle that attaches with a small zip tie to the break lever so that when you apply the brake the magnet pulls away from the box and stops the motor. Search for ebike Hydraulic brake sensor with SM2A plug.
Question:	I have a 4 wheel surrey. Could I use this kit and replace both tires and sync the motors
Answer:	what do you mean by "will not fit"? The sensor or the wheel with the magnet? I had to make a bracket for the sensor to be positioned correctly and the magnet wheel needed to be reamed out to fit my peddle arms. No other option. Just find a way to attach the sensor and somehow get the magnetic wheel to attach to you peddle shaft.

Answer:	As long as they are on different frequencies... If Kid Galaxy only offers this toy with 1 frequency, there will be no way to prevent interference. From what I read on the box, this exact model is only sold as 49mhz, therefore you would only be able to run 1 of these at a time. They do offer 2 other styles that are on 27mhz and one of those can be run at the same time as this one on 49mhz. If the numbers are the same, you will have problems.

Answer:	As far as the integrated shifter take soapy water put it on your grips take everything off take your controllers offer shifters off slide your brake levers on put your LCD screen on one side or other then put your shifters back on and then you’re probably have to cut the grips down a little bit put them on and you’re done

Answer:	No, the motor controller shuts off at 40V, you can run with 4 lead acid batteries, with 15ah 12v lead acids you can run about 13-15 miles with throttle full(but they weigh about 40 lbs), at half throttle you will get a lot further, as most of these controllers require twice the current at full throttle than around 60% throttle.
Question:	Is there a power switch on the battery or is it only on the holder
Answer:	Turn on LCD. Hold up and down to configure settings, it starts blinking. Press power to go through settings until you get to where it stops blinking. Hold up and down again, and it goes to p settings. Scroll through again with power button, until it stops blinking. Hold up and down again goes to c settings. Scroll to c7. It probably says 0. Change it to 1, and hold power button to change. Now when you're riding, once you're going over 7kmh I believe, hold the down key for about 5 seconds, and it will pop up a c and say cruise, and you're off. Did it for the first time last night. Was looking for something completely different in the settings, but I was wondering why mine wasnt working. Fixed it instantly.

Answer:	I'm using a 622x38 tire with this wheel and it works well. I think a 622x19 tire will probably install on the rim ok, but most experts say wider is better at this power level.
Question:	Can you recommend a suitable battery for this kit? Also, may a 48v 1000watt battery adversely affect a 1500watt motor
Answer:	The top speed will depend on your setup. The manufacturer lists the nominal rotational speed at 560rpm. A motors top rpm is determined by the voltage, and since the nominal rating of the motor is 48v that means you can expect to get around 11.66 rotations per minute per volt. In general 48v controllers have capacitors in them that can handle up to 60v, so the highest voltage battery you can safely use is a 52v. A 52v battery charged to 100% will output 58.8v, and 58.8 x 11.66 = 685rpm. Next you should take the diameter of your wheel and multiply it by pi. As an example if our tire has a diameter of 28inches you would take 28 x 3.14 = 87.92in. Then convert inches to miles. This gives us about 0.0014miles per rpm. Multiply this by the rpm at 58.8v to get 0.0014 x 685 = 0.959 miles per minute. Finally multiply this by 60 to get miles per hour. 0.959 x 60 = 57.54mph. Now this speed is the top speed at zero load, so you won't ever actually achieve this speed. The real speed the bike will go is going to depend on how aerodynamic you are. A mountain bike with fat tires and a large rider won't get anywhere near this speed, but a road bike with a skinny rider who is leaning far forward with skinny tires will likely get over 50mph. So just to reiterate the speed you get on the bike is going to vary greatly depending on how aerodynamic you are when riding and how many bolts you supply to the motor. Hope this helps.

Question:	What are the dimensions of the controller,i have an ebike with a sealed place for it
Answer:	Believe it is rated at 300, I’m 260 and ride it no issues. Wouldn't hesitate at 230, should be no issue. Thing has some torque. Of course depends on your type of riding, I am mostly street with a few fire road type forays to get to my fishing holes.
Question:	front wheel kit freewheel or does it have constant resistance? i ask because i was told i need a geared motor if i want to just pedal the bike

Answer:	I installed a front hub version on my disc-brake equipped bike, and it has worked fine. The disc attachments lined up with the calipers with no problems. Because of the added weight of the motor and battery and higher speeds, I find I'm using up disc brake pads much more quickly than I did previously.
Question:	Can you still use the bike without the motor (pedaling only, if you want to use the bike for exercise) after you have installed the motor
Answer:	Replacement fuse for the controler of a ebike? Check with the seller of the battery for a ebike and im sure they can advise you to where the fuse can be purchased.
