Question:	Will this work with off road bikes
Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by the exposed locknut? The main reason to use this skewer as opposed to the one that came with your bike is that cone shape of the heads fit securely into the Kurt Kinetic clamp on your stationary trainer. I was able to use the skewer that came with my bike (Navarro carbon fiber with SRAM Rival components) it just didn't seat as nicely. And I have no problem using the Kurt Kinetic skewer with my bike, the only issue is aesthetic in that the components are black and the Kurt skewer is chrome.

Answer:	Well this is a custom skewer for the Kurt Kinetic trainer. Your bike wheel may already have a skewer on the rear wheel for quick release. That skewer can be changed with this one by following their (Kurt Kinetic) directions so that the possibility of the bike slipping off of the Kurt Kinetic trainer is eliminated. Last thing you want is to be going 30 to 40 miles an hour on your stationary set up and the wheel slips off the trainer you could crash into objects in the home and break them and could suffer an injury.

Answer:	I think so. The 9 yr old should have no problem, and i doubt the 6 yr old would either. The arm that holds the wheel dosent have alot of tension. It moves quite easily. I think its used more as a guide for the wheel. I really like the product and would recomend it.

Answer:	I have this question too, and everyone seems to think they have the answer, but so far all I've seen is a lack of understanding of the different types of axles out there. Just so everyone is aware, NOT ALL bikes can use a QR (quick release) skewer. Many modern bikes can only use a threaded thru-axle. With past trainers, I've had good success using axles from the Robert Axle project and the Traxle from Kinetic. Many new bikes use hubs that are wider than they used to be. So Alpcour...can you please directly answer this question? : Can you use a bike with a 12x142 rear thru-axle with this stand? I understand that I will have to replace the axle on my bike. But the key question is if the dimensions are large enough to fit a bike with that axle width. Most trainers like this are NOT wide enough. Can you please clarify?

Answer:	The resistance on the tire from the trainer is consistent throughout the training period and cannot be adjusted without getting off the bike. However, that's not the purpose of the trainer, unlike a spin bike you have gears on your actual bike and by using your shifter and moving up and down the rear ring you will provide yourself with plenty of resistance and can change gears as often as you need to simulate climbing, speed work, and recovery. There are great training videos on YouTube that tell you when to shift up or down on your bike while using a trainer. Good luck.

Question:	What is the warranty on this Fluid Trainer
Answer:	Although we don’t have warranty card in the package, we will be responsible for all problems of this Fluid bike trainer as long as used correctly.
Question:	Will it fit my Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike
Answer:	Why would it not? The Yaheetech Fluid Trainer drives the rear-wheel of a bicycle. It specifies 26" - 28" as well as 700C wheels. That accomodates a very long list. Take a look at your Specialize's specs--do they fall within that range? My only question re fit would be whether the YFD would accomodate the disc brake, but I think I remember an affirmative to that question when I was looking at specs prior to my own purchase several months ago. So, I think, yes--but I can't be sure. The YFBT is a simple (read--accomodating to general use) device, but, then you have recourse to Amazon's return policy provided you can act quickly. Question:	Is this 11spd compatible

Question:	Can you use the wahoo fitness app with h3 snd if so do you need a cable to make it work. I’m trying to avoid paid subscriptions
Answer:	The Wahoo Fitness app only works with Wahoo trainers. If you do not want to use a subscription service, you can use our Saris Utility app for basic ERG control features or simply ride the trainer in default mode without it paired to any program. In that state it will provide a progressive resistance curve and you can still transmit the power data to a cycling hear unit to track your workout.
Question:	Does this trainer come with a rear wheel skewer
Answer:	no
Question:	Can you, or why can’t you just use your existing bike cassette ? Why do you have to buy another and another skewer
Answer:	You can definitely take the cassette off of your normal wheel and mount it on the trainer. It is just recommended to get a second cassette so that you do not need to deal with the hassle of that anytime you want to take the bike off of the trainer and ride it outside.
