I love the basket, my dog loves it too. I think you’ll be happy with it. FYI: aluminum frame is lightweight... don’t let your bike tip over with basket on... it could possibly damage the frame if it hits hard.

Answer:	I sprinkled some water on the bag and it soaked it up instead of rolling off. I would say it is not waterproof.
