Question:	How long does it take to fully charge and how long does a charge last
Answer:	What the other people said may well be true. However, when I recharged my pump, the last 2 lights [recall 4 lights indicate full charge] continued to flash for hours of 'recharging.' I don't know if they are supposed to go solid at some point of the recharge process, 'cause mine never did. I finally unplugged the pump and turned it on: all four lights came on, indicating that it really had achieved a full charge.

Answer:	The person asking the question is correct. The switch does have three positions. " | O || " The left position " | " is labeled OFF. The right position " || " is labeled ON. The switch CAN move to either one of the 3 positions. In the " O " and " | " positions nothing happens, so the assumption is that both positions act as 'pump off.'
