Everything on the outside is plastic, so I would say it would do very well in the rain or when when. Answer:	I have not heard about a warning I have no problems with my lock

Answer:	You can try greasing the mechanism with some WD-40 or some silicone and seeing if that will give you enough lubricant to twist it and get it to reset. I have not personally had this problem with the lock, but I have had that issue with other locks and if that won't help then you might just need to buy another one

Answer:	Best size description I can tell you ...... cable is a little thicker than a Pencil. The actual Lock itself I would say is between 1" - 2". Depending on the size of your handle (and If it's what I'm thinking off).....the cable, no prob. But fitting the actual Lock hardware thru a cabinet handle.....not to positive about that. Question:	The light doesn’t work. The package says to try the light and it advertises it to be a light. Do I need to send it back
Answer:	Our light didn't work either. I bought the batteries hoping that's all it was, but unfortunately... i haven't tried them yet. :( So, i can't tell you if replacing them will fix things. I did leave a question to the seller to this effect but, no one from the company ever reached out to me to offer any solutions (& i bought this in March). So, I'm sorry to say that you may be on your own. They don't seem to care that their product wasn't as advertised. I will update my comments once i try the new batteries.
