Answer:	The holder works well but you may have to use another type of liner depending on the diameter of your top tube. Mine was too large for the provided liner and too small without so I had to"rig" it myself. That was really no problem in my opinion though. I have only set the combination once and have not had to reset it, but it works easily enough. Overall I am pleased with the setup and would recommend this product.

Question:	Why not just use a padlock with it
Answer:	As far as "easily cut", no, a good quality padlock can be much harder to cut than this cable. You COULD use a good padlock, but since this cable is meant as a supplementary lock for a wheel or accessories you are presumably already using a U-lock, so it's easiest to just loop through that than to carry a separate padlock + key.
Question:	How big are the loops? I'm wanting to use on kayaks by sliding them through scuppers. The scupper hole diameter is about 1 inch. Will they fit
Answer:	Probably going to have issues. The loops are big enough that you can feed them through each other. You might be able to get the loop through a 1 inch opening but its going to be difficult. This wire is pretty thick, you will likely be better off reducing the size of the wire for your purposes.
Question:	Can i use this with the Kryptonite New York Noose
Answer:	Sure. It is plenty long enough and the loop connects into the kryptonite disc lock easily. You would use the Kryptonite Noose around the frame, rear wheel and a post. The cable would be around the front wheel looped into itself and the the end loop would later be in the disc lock. Use the chain over the cable for locking up the rear wheel as the chain is much stronger.
Question:	Is this compatible with the Fahgettaboudit
Answer:	Yes it is, but. . . the heavy chain that most Fahgettaboudit locks come with would be much better. The Kryptoflex cable can be easily cut by any thief.

Optical distortion through the plastic coating may cause the variation in readings.

Answer:	I measured the plastic covering the crimp, it measured .98/.99 with a dial caliper at the largest spot. It’s almost round with the plastic cover. Squeezing the eye of the cable may be difficult to get it to that size. I hope this helps.

Answer:	The Master Lock 72DPF 15’ x 3/8dia. Cable is not rated for weight suspension. Although the cable is heavy duty and has great strength, the end loops are not designed for suspended weight. The cable should only be used for passive security where no stress force is applied.

Answer:	You can try greasing the mechanism with some WD-40 or some silicone and seeing if that will give you enough lubricant to twist it and get it to reset. I have not personally had this problem with the lock, but I have had that issue with other locks and if that won't help then you might just need to buy another one

Answer:	Mine only has a number on the keys. I suspect like cars it allows initial duplication once you know the master number.

Answer:	NO, it hefty U bolt lock is too small to use alone and the cable is an unruly mess that any decent bolt cutter can cut through unlike the U Bolt which would even slow down a reciprocating saw enough to stop a thief. The key lock design is pick and drill proof enough to not worry about even in NYC. MIne is on a $200 bike and I have never had any package stolen but I used to live in a bad neighborhood in Chicago. It is more like they would cut the weak cable and then lift the WHOLE bike and cut off the u Bolt once safely in their "lair". Since leaving Chicago I lave has no package stolen in about 30 years. I have had plenty undelivered by ONTRAC which Amazon no longer uses but that is another issue. I know this because I have 4K cameras everywhere that evidence whom is at fault. ONTRAC is the worst delivery service ever.

Question:	Will this fit into the back pocket of some levis, or will it stick out too far? The 5inch model hangs a tiny bit, wasnt sure if 7 was managable or not
Answer:	It's too long for the rear pocket on my Levi's to hold it securely on its own, but here's a tip: loop it between your pants and your belt from the top, leaving the cylindrical part above the belt to keep it from falling out. *Then* you can stick the U part in your pocket securely.
Question:	will the u lock lock the frame and the wheel
Answer:	Depending on the type of bike, you will have different results. If you have a road or commuter bike, where the tire is closer to the frame, you may be able to lock through the wheel and frame. I have a fairly bulky mountain bike, and can only lock through the frame.

Answer:	The loop will compress to 1-1/2". The collar near the loop is 1" diameter.
Question:	Cyclist would use these if they were lighter, and would fit in their seat bag, we need 1/8 flexible vinyl coated 4 - 6 foot long. with scratch protect
Answer:	It's easy enough for someone to cut through this 1/2" cable, using a light-weight "scratch-free" 1/8" cable to lock a bike is simply daring someone to steal it.
Question:	can i put the hoops onto a 30mm bolt
Answer:	You should have no problem putting the hoops over a 30mm bolt.
Question:	is the loop on the end large enough to put the other end through
Answer:	Yes it is... that was a critical point for me when I purchased it and I'm happy to say it does! Very happy with this product.
