Question:	I have to strap an automotive tool box to its shipping pallet. Will this product work for this application
Answer:	You can buy the tensioner separate. Not sure about the blades. I usually cut the straps with scissors.
Question:	Can you buy the tensioner/cutter by itself or replacement blades
Answer:	I guess it can be re-used but the plastic clips tend to break and are not so easily re-secured. If you only want to get back in the box once or twice then maybe, but definitely don't use these if you want to get in the box frequently.

Answer:	It works reasonable for what it is. If you really need super tight strapping I would buy the mechanical tensioners.

Answer:	It can to a very limited degree, dorsi flex and plantar flex. The model itself is still very highly detailed, but yes movement is very limited in the ankle

Answer:	I bought the lightweight product which was great for my project, but I would hesitate to use the lightweight webbing for luggage rack straps. Strapworks does sell heavier weight webbing and I would think that would work well for your application.

Answer:	The metal clips don't clamp. When threaded properly the strap is pulled tightly and it will not release. Advantages of this is that are that the only tool needed is a knive to cut the strapping, and that if the strapping is removed after pulling taught the clip can be reused. There is a tool included that can be used to aid in pulling the strap taught.

Answer:	It’s 1/2 wide, with 350 break strength and 0.24 thickness and 9000 feet long.

Answer:	Yes, straps recommend from 1/2" to 3/4" (13mm-19mm).
Question:	Can I use this tensioner for 1/2" ploy straps
Answer:	I suggest that the storage area be dry and relatively bug-free. If the items are completely enclosed in the wrap they should do well. However, I do not know whether the stretch wrap would leave marks on wood furniture if the wrap is touching bare wood for a prolonged period. Also, stretch wrap does not really protect from heat, so if you would normally insulate something from heat, you should still do so when using the wrap.

Question:	Do the ends fray if you don't stitch them
Answer:	I suspect it would but I would not use it it to drag a human if it was to be placed directly on the torso of a person. The material is rather thin and rough and may cause friction injury to the skin . The strap is rather easily melted or cut using a low powered wood burner pen or soldering iron. I used it for canoe seats. It seems like it would cut into your hands if you pulled a weight unless you wore protective gloves.
Question:	I intend to use this for fire fighting application, will it hold if i tried to drag 300lbs
