Easy Quick Lock Mechanism

Before using your poles, make sure that your locks are firmly secured. While the tip is on the ground, test to ensure the lock is secure by pushing on the top of the handle so the tip presses into the ground. If your pole shortens while doing this then you need to readjust the height and tighten the lock more.

Step 1. Open Tab and Adjust

Fully open the quick lock tab and adjust to desired height.

Step 2. Tighten Thumbscrew

Tighten Thumbscrew by turning it 1/4" to 1/2" turns clockwise.

Step 3. Close Quick Lock Tab

Quick Lock Tab should be difficult to close when properly tightened.

Step 4. Test and Readjust

Apply weight to the pole. If pole begins to collapse, repeat steps 1-3 until it remains at desired height.

Ideally, you want top-back vents to release the moisture exhaled from your lungs as you sleep (so you don't wake up wet) and to keep snakes from slithering into your tent while you sleep (as well as other creepy crawlies). Answer:	No. You use your own trekking poles to set up this tent. It is intended to be set up with the handle on the ground and the metal tip pointed up. Insert the metal tip into the holder at the top of the ridge line, designed to hold the metal trekking pole tip. You can also set this tent up tied between two trees or using two sticks off the ground, or You could also set it up with the trekking pole tip down and insert the guy-line through the handle straps. So you do not need to insert the poles into the ground. The tent is secured by the triangle formation and the guy-lines so it holds up well in the wind or weather, even though the pole is not inserted into the ground.

Question:	Anyone had a problem with the locking mechanism coming loose so the pole collapses while walking? I have different brand with that problem
Answer:	Yes. I'm not sure what these others are talking about but the Revis no locking mechanism on the sections of these poles. They just loosely slide together, and are in constant danger of sliding apart again in use.
Question:	Would these work for skiing/snowboarding
Answer:	These poles are made for hiking and Nordic walking, They are strong and sturdy but it hasn't been tried out by us for skiing.
Question:	Is there a current problem with handles coming off
Answer:	I have not experienced any problem with my trekking poles.
