Question:	Can I use these as poles for a tarp shelter? I have a tarp that I would like to use as a rain fly over my camping tent
Answer:	I can put a full size air bed inside of it but it’s a real tight fit.

Answer:	Factory waterproofing is NEVER adequate on any tent for strong rain, and even in storage, waterproofing only lasts a year. You have no way of knowing how long your "new" tent sat in a warehouse before you bought it. Part of successfully using a new tent is setting it up before you need it, and using a seam sealer (readily available) on ALL the seams. After seam sealing the tent, apply a spray waterproofing to all the walls, and if the tent has a tarp, seam seal and waterproof that as well. You will need to do this every year. Even when a tent is well waterproofed, pushing against the walls from the inside will cause water to start seeping through. Many people are perplexed with their waterproof tent when their air mattress or other gear is pushing against the walls, then rain gets inside. That's just the physics of a tent.
Question:	How long are these? I am trying to replace one that is 170 1/4 inches
Answer:	I had the same experience. Ordered the tent, but came without the rain fly. The description clearly states that a rain fly is included.

Question:	What is the diameter of the poles
Answer:	Each section is 26" long, so for a 170.25" you would need to buy 2 kits...and find a longer length of shock cord... (Like reuse the one from the old pole?) OR simply replace the sections that are damaged currently. Be SURE you buy the correct diameter kit! They come in many different sizes and you NEED the same as the old one is. Longer ones are often thicker than 9mm. (which is this kit's diameter.)
Question:	length of poles. I see two different answers, one is 25 ft. and the other is 154 inches which is 12.8 ft. Can anyone confirm which is correct

Answer:	There's only 12 bags per package. I order 3 or 4 packages at a time. Each pack costs around $9.80. The bags don't leak but I don't use the rubber bands that come with them, I tie them. It's the best deal I can find so far.

Answer:	The plates, bowls, & cups I would say yes to being dishwasher safe. The silverware however I wouldn't trust. In my opinion the handles are cheaply made... The Enamel coating used can withstand cooking on an open fire while out camping, (same coating used on pots, pans, & coffee pots.)

Answer:	The back of the dishes state: gibsonUSA.com ( China ) Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. It's a similar style to a Potterybarn set I have. These are a lesser quality, lighter and the finish isn't always even, but it's a nice starter set or for use when you need many place settings at a reasonable price. If needed, I would buy these again. :D

Question:	is this a good back packing tent and does it stay dry when it rains
Answer:	27 inches.. I'm 5' 7'' an it's difficult to say the least to dress and undress in this tent. .on the plus side, it is the lightest tent for the money... my older model yellow solitaire with the fiBergland poles has worked well for me. The AL green model , bought for my daughter, leaked water the first time she used it ...very disappointed. .but she had treated it with a water repellent and I don't know if that affected it negatively. ...I definitely would buy one again though. ..light weight and enough room for you and some gear..

Question:	Is the room divider removable for one open room? It looks like there are side windows, can you see out of them with the rain fly on
Answer:	These are only replacement segments. Each are around 27" long. They do not make a full pole. If you need shorter, which I did, you will need to cut them. This is the only pole that I could find that would fit my tent. Works fine.
Question:	is this tent easy to set up
Answer:	The poles worked for a standup tent with a (high center) where bending the rods was necessary.
Question:	Does it gave a cover for the top to keep rain out? Sorry if it is a dumb question but I do not see it in the description or the image
Answer:	25 9/16" long - you can trim them with a hacksaw to whatever length you need

Answer:	They are too flexible for that. Made to go inside dome type tents and "bend" to fit. You will need rigid metal poles.
