Answer: The orange is okay . It has good ventilation if you open both sides.

Answer: I don't think it would be my first choice when climbing Everest or on a icy subzero night. The open mesh top under the fly would allow too much heat to escape. But I would choose it for almost any other condition. I love this tent.
Question: What is the packed weight? What is the dimensions of the floor
Answer: It fits my single cot very well but wouldn't handle 2 of them. However, my cot is somewhat wider than usual, so there's the possibility yours would work. Try measuring your cot and compare to the stated width of the tent. The sides are pretty much vertical, so the floor width should tell you.
Question: How is a tent unisex? What the F is that suppose to mean? One day it's a boy, the other, i dunno
Answer: I cannot say w 100% certainty. My experience is that packed weight includes everything. The lightest weight given is always for fast pitch setup of fly over open ground or fly over footprint. Min trail weight does not include the footprint.

Answer: Very easily packed in my 45 L bag however I bungied it on the outside of my backpack! Very lightweight for the size tent it is.

Answer: If I understand your question correctly I’d say yes it could be done. There is nothing to connect the rain fly to the poles but the footprint has it’s own connectors to snap in with the rain fly and poles then the poles would just free stand with the rain fly over them. Also the poles are one piece connecting at the top so I’d think even in a strong wind this set up would work.
Question: Does this tent come with the mesh gear loft
Answer: It's a quick fix if you bend (but do not break) a pole. It's a sleeve that goes over a damaged pole to reinforce it short term. You hope you never need it.
Question: Does this include a footprint
Answer: Been using my footprint man years. First advantage pine needle and tree sap not on your tent bottom thus cleaner tent and less messy rolling up to store in pack. Always the risk of some sharp objects to cut you tent or damage the waterproofing. BUT last and best make your own. Buy and thicker plastic sheeting HomeDepot, set up tent over clear or black plastic then with marker trace around tent base with pie pan circles around peg point with duct tape reinforcing where pegs go in. Cut out and set up that ground cover with pegs before you set up tent to know how much room and orientation you will need/want. Pennies on the dollar to make you own and more convenient to set up tent at sites.

Answer: Yes it should but marmot provides the internal dimensions on their websites so doublecheck as queen size air mattresses dimensions vary. There is more than enough headroom to allow for a mattress certainly.

Answer: No, Marmot no longer provides a gear loft with the Limelight series of tents. But they do sew in the loops that allow you to add a gear loft. I bought the Limelight 3 person tent and simply added a Kelty gear loft for $15. It's a nice loft with a large flat area and two pockets that hang down which are perfectly sized for eyeglasses. It weighs almost nothing and has elastic loops to adapt to different size tents. It fits the 3P Limelight perfectly. I'd imagine it will be fine in the 2P Limelight as well. After having a gear loft in a tent, I'm a huge fan. It keeps small items out of the way but close at hand and visible. Marmot provides a couple of side pockets on the tent but they are dark in color and you can't easily see if anything is in them. I'm always worried I'll leave something in there and pack it up with the tent. With the gear loft, it's really easy to see what you've left up there.
