Answer:	It comes with tent stakes, but they weren't very sturdy. They bend very easily. You may or may not want to purchase other ones.

Answer:	All of the mesh windows have zipper closure and can completely be covered with a zippered nylon flap. That said, on a hot summer night, you would be significantly decreasing the cross ventilation by doing so. We love this tent, and it has not been an issue. Additionally the majority of the roof of this tent is mesh as well assisting with ventilation but is covered by the rain fly.

Answer:	It does not come with a footprint. Kelty does make a foot print specifically for this tent. I made one from sheet plastic I picked up at home depot.

Answer:	It stood up well in a night-long rain/snow mix, though I had it covered with a plastic tarp. There was some wind, maybe 15 mph, which is why I used the tarp for warmth. I have not used it in a 30 mph wind.

He also mentioned to me one day that if a sleeping bag for example says 20 to 40 degrees. 40 degrees is where you are comfortable but you can stay alive at 20 degrees

Answer:	I have the two person and its just me. Plenty of room for me and all my gear. If I added another person, they would be no gear room. It does have a flap on the outside, but it wouldn't stay dry if you had much. Amazing tent though. Love it. I have used it in all seasons and many miles.
Question:	Why does the 3 person tent weigh around 6lbs, while the 4 person tent jumps to 10lbs even though it's only slightly bigger
Answer:	It does not have the "Stargazing Fly" like the Night Owl or the Dirt Motel, but it has a traditional fly attachment so you can always secure the fly to one end and roll the fly back so you can see through the mesh on the top. That way it will be easy to secure if it does begin to rain.

A 4 season version of a 6 person tent that Kelty does not offer an aluminum pole 6 person tent. Better to look at a Eureka Space Camp 6 or a Big Agnes Bighouse 6

Answer:	We are out of state now, so can't measure. We are 63 & 68 so wanted a tent that was easier to get in and out of. This tent definitely meets that goal. I am 5'3" and can easily dress in the tent. If I remember correctly, I can stand up in the middle of the tent with only a very slight slouch.

Question:	What material are the guy lines made from
Answer:	I could not find a foot print for that tent. I have one for a 4 person Kelty Grand Mesa and really liked it the one time I have used it so far. I would look for one with the same measurements (or just above) or call REI to see what they suggest.
Question:	I want a tarp to go over a picnic table when car camping. Which size would work without being overkill
Answer:	This footprint will not be a perfect fit for this model. Thanks!
Question:	does this tarp provide deep shade? In other words, is it opaque enough to block sunlight
Answer:	It is a separate piece that can be attached or stand on it's own with poles.
Question:	Will this work as a good rainfly, or only meant for light rain
Answer:	I'm sure you can if you would like, but this material and the material that is used by Kelty for their footprints is different. I'm not sure if you really want to be walking all over this... Try REI... you should be able to get all the items you want to match your tent... Also, the TN3 is quite tiny... Don't fart inside when it's closed up, you might suffocate!
