Answer:	The differences between 2018 and 2019 models of the Cosmic down 20 are this: New colors. Shell Material – last year was a 50D Polyester Ripstop, this year 20D Nylon Taffeta. This year’s fabric is lighter, more compressible, more down-proof, and has a much nicer hand to it. Small zipper pocket was added to this year’s version.

Answer:	Yes, I used this sleeping bag on the first section of my Mountain to Sea Trail Hike in the Great Smokey Mountains,(April 2019). For most nights I was warm, however one night the weather changed from rain to snow and I was cold all night even with my clothes and wool socks on. It got down to about 30 degrees. I would not have slept any if the temperature had dropped lower. It's rated for 20 degrees but I would not use it again in that type of weather.

Answer:	I have a 2 season thermarest which doesn't fully insulate but certainly helps. The sleeping bag itself compacts beneath you (as is reasonable) but fluffs up quickly as you rotate. In 25°F you may feel a bit of a chill from the ground but if you cinch up the top of the bag your body heat and the down will warm and counteract the cool ground temp. It's a wonderfully warm and comfortable bag. You don't need to layer up at all. A 4 season sleeping pad would eliminate any chill due to compression.

Answer:	I bought it for my son, he is 5'10", 155 lb, he says it is enough room for someone 6'4".

Answer:	Hi Luke,Thanks for reaching out and great question. Sleeping bag temperature ratings can be misleading. When manufacturers tell you a bag is rated for -10°, we mean that it will keep you alive at a temperature down to -10°. We don't mean you'll be comfortable. You won't. You will be cold. But you'll be alive. Temperature ratings are really survival ratings. For comfort, most people need a sleeping bag rated about 20° to 25° colder than the expected nighttime temperature on their camping trip. If you are expecting zero degree nights, then buy a -20° to -25° sleeping bag.So to answer your question, no a 0 degree bag will not keep you warm at all. If you are planning on camping in negative 30 degree weather you will need at minimum a -35 degree bag. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.
Question:	Is this bag good for backpacking? As in will it fit in a large pack
Answer:	This sleeping bag will fold up into 8" diameter by 10" long. Once packed up, it fit nicely under my back pack. Caution, it takes a lot of afford to get the sleeping bag into its bag. You need to practice at home several times before using it at camping. I like this sleeping bag. It has pocket for my phone and keys. Question:	What's the difference between the Leef 0 degree bag and the Tracker +5 degree bag? Is it really just a 5 degree temperature rating
Answer:	The biggest difference between the Tracker and the LEEF 0 - The temperature for one, the fill is also different. In the LEEF bag we use a micro fiber insulation that has more loft and more compression than the Tracker. The shell and construction are also different. The LEEF 0F is a more technical higher-end sleeping bag in the fit and construction than the Tracker +5.

Answer:	The universal EN rating would be the 0 degrees, which is more of a survival rating than comfort. The comfortable level would be more like 10°F. When you get into these colder temperatures it becomes super important what sleeping pad you sleep on. Even a -15 degree bag will be cold if you are sleeping directly on the ground. The insulation cannot loft up and keep you warm rather it gets packed down and provides less warmth. If your looking to take it down to 0°F you should just make sure you have a sleeping pad with a high R-Value and bring warm clothes in case they are needed!Thanks,Outdoor Vitals

Answer:	It appears the model (in 2019) has left and right zippers, so that any two bags will zip correctly together with tops and bottoms aligned.

Answer:	Yes I constantly camp at 10,000 feet and it gets really cold at night. With one or two zipped together they work well down to about 10° F. Any colder than than and I would suggest some extra insulation. The mixed reviews are because people have machine washed them and degraded the insulation.
Question:	Is this sleeping bag machine washable
Answer:	Sprays are not my favorite idea. Teton makes liners for these. They are very comfortable, add about 10 degrees of heat, and are machine washable. I cant stand filth or stank smell and enjoy/demand clean bedding and they have been amazing. My bag has seen plenty of me but still feel and smells clean. Also very important, liner or not, ALWAYS fully air out your bag after you return home. Like a full 24 hours to completely dry and vent. Same with you tent.
Question:	Hello! I am 6'5" tall and weigh 340# would this be a good bag for me

Answer:	Our bags are rated in accordance with the European Norm (EN) 13537 standard testing protocol. The Eolus 15F survival (extreme) limit for our 15 degree line is 15F and the lower limit (rating for men) is 30F while the comfort limit (rating for women) is 50F. Thanks!

Answer:	The goose down is not treated to be hydrophobic, but it is sterilized down. The exterior material of the sleeping bag is water resistant, but for additional protection we recommend using Nikwax Down Proof™, after cleaning first with Nikwax Down Wash™. This will add DWR to the outer fabric of the gear and also the down fill. We highly recommend that you use Rainy Pass or another professional gear cleaning service company to preform this task as improper cleaning damage is not covered under our warranty.
Question:	What does 0 degree f mean? i read it as zero degrees farenheit but then i see it referred to as a 3-season bag. will it keep warm at 0 degrees f
Answer:	The rating on a sleeping bag is always the bags "LOWER LIMIT". The zero degree rating just means most people won't freeze to death down to 0 degrees. What you want to know is the "COMFORT RATING" which is probably 15-30 degrees( for most people ). Some people sleep warmer and some colder but you should look up how to stay warm camping in cold temperatures.
Question:	Product description mentions "waterproof fabrics" - come clean, just how waterproof is it
Answer:	Probably just a DWR face coating like most "water resistant" fabrics. They'll generally do a good job of keeping light moisture, like if a small amount of condensation builds up in your tent and drips on it, but DWR's are not "waterproof" by any stretch of the imagination and no down sleeping bag is either. You have to protect all down protects from moisture - whether it's rain or long exposure to smaller amounts of moisture like condensation from your breathing. Hydrophilic down treatments can help mitigate the effects of moisture, but not completely remediate them. It's doubtful this is using hydrophilic down treatment at this price point. However, don't let this discourage you from the sleeping bag if you otherwise like it - there's no such thing as a waterproof down sleeping bag. If you suspect you're definitely going to be exposed to moisture, like sleeping cowboy, you may want to consider a bag with synthetic insulation instead.

Question:	how small does it compress down to
Answer:	When you get it new it is about 20x12 but I put it in a compression bag and got it down to around 12x12 . I t wasn't easy getting it that small I had to put my knee on it to smash it and really pull on the straps. It is a little heavy for hiking but it has kept​ me very warm into ​the mid teens in a two person hiking tent with a klymit insulated static v sleeping pad under me. I f you can carry the extra weight it is a decent alternative to a more expensive down bag.

Answer:	It's brutally heavy. If you're asking about weight, this is NOT the bag you want.
Question:	Can you wash it on washing machine
Answer:	Technically yes. A standard wash may cause the internal insulating fill material to clump together during the spin cycle. This will cause the bag to be uncomfortable and loss it's ability to properly keep you warm. I've ruined sleeping bags this way years ago as a kid. My front loading washer machine was a "hand washing" setting selection with the option to turn the spin cycle off. I wash the bag twice (once with the soap reservoir about one-third full of HE Laundry Soap and a second hand wash cycle with just water to ensure the sleeping bag is properly rinsed. Use cold water on both washing cycles. Finally, let the bag drip dry on a drying line outdoors or indoors in your laundry room or garage. Make sure to turn the bag inside out after 8 to 12 hours of drying so it can finish drying properly. This washing/drying method keeps my sleeping bags from being ruined. Use a quad size washing machine at your local laundry mat to wash your sleeping bag(s) if your current washing machine is too small to handle this sleeping bag. Air dry on line at home. A tower fan pointed at the sleeping bag while it's on the drying line will help the bag dry much faster. Sleeping bag liners are a great way to help it stay clean. They are sold in cotton, satin, silk and various other materials. I find the silk bags are extremely comfortable. The sporting goods section at your local Walmart should sell cotton sleeping bag liners next to the sleeping bag section. Hope this helps you out. Question:	How do you get the sleeping bag back into the stuff sack? I bought is and we can't get it back in
Answer:	Most if not all better quality sleeping bags I've bought came with a stuff sack and a storage bag. The storage bag is much bigger and breathes to help preserve loft. (An oversized cotton pillow case would work) As others have said, a stuff sack is for stuffing. Stick the foot in and start stuffing. Sometimes it's a bit of a challenge. I think manufactures tend to provide undersized bags so they can claim they pack down smaller. BTW, this would not make a good backpacking bag. It's heavy and bulky. It would be fine for car camping though. Or for short winter backpack trips if you're on a really tight budget.

Question:	If I'm 5'11" and 51" at the shoulders, will this bag be too big for me? That is, will I have a lot of empty bag (dead space) past my feet
Answer:	I roughly measured from the bottom of the bag to where it becomes approx. 51 in wide. The measurement is 45". So if your shoulders to your feet is less them 45" that will give you the excess room. You can also move your body up in the bag but not any lower.
Question:	Although at times I will use a sleeping bag for colder (@ 32 F) weather, mostly I will use for warmer nights around 40-50 F. Will I be TOO warm
Answer:	This bag would probably be better for 40 to 50 f. When backpacking in San Jacinto Mtns this November and froze my butt offat 28 f. Hoping a liner will help.

Answer:	This is a somewhat confusing question. If you can find a hammock compatible goosedown bag rated to 0 degrees that weighs under 4lb, please let me know. For what they are, IMO these bags are very lightweight.
Question:	I am new to hammock camping. Do you find the need to have a top quilt or some type of blanket for potential face coverage
Answer:	No. I am 6 feet tall and with my feet at the end of the footbox I still have plenty of bag to cover my head. And if you're worried about that blanket over the head feeling don't because their is enough room and air circulating to keep you comfortable.
Question:	Is it possible to achieve diagonal lay (to get the flat lay in a hammock) with this bag
Answer:	I bought this a couple of weeks ago and was able to lie diagonal. I'm 5' 8" 205lbs and had no problems. get a longer bag if you have doubts, this will give you more room. Be well.
