Answer:	I bought two. The new one doesn't attract static. The old one attract a little little bit after I washed it.
Question:	Does the texture change once it is washed a few times? I have several blankets that are super soft until several washes then they are never the same
Answer:	Synthetic fabrics will “melt” if exposed to high heat since they are basically a type of plastic. These polyester blankets will begin to feel rough if dried in a hot dryer. The more often they are exposed to heat, the rougher they will become. To maintain their amazing softness, wash them in cold water and then dry on low heat and/or air dry them.
Question:	Does it need washing before using
Answer:	My daughter didn't wash it before using it and had no problems as far as I know. Washing may make the blanket less soft though as washing did for my daughter's other Sherpa blanket.
Question:	Can you still buy the blanket if you don't own a pet
Answer:	You actually can. But that would be illegal AND a waste of money. You’d be risking arrest and stiff penalties. Please be smart and do not buy this blanket unless you have a pet. I just ordered 2 of them. But I have 2 pets, so it’s okay. I won’t be arrested and I’ll be doubly happy - as will my pets.

Answer:	it is pretty small and could easily fit into a backpack. i bought one for my future son-in-law to take to a three day music festival. it was a HUGE hit and no one stepped on either him nor my daughter. they use it all of the time to take to the beach for a little wine and a sunset. it turned out to be the perfect gift!

Answer:	I believe the blanket itself is but I imagine taking the lights out of the blanket and then putting them back in would be difficult
