Answer:	Yes. I bought this bed to use during recoverly from a surgery that prevented me from going upstairs to our bedroom. As delived and set up, it was very low to the floor. I put a single bed mattress on top of the foam mattress and it was perfect. Also, I am in my 70's, and not good at assembling things. I managed all myself. This was great find.

If too stiff, it is much easier to add an additional foam mattress cover, though the 5in thick dense foam mattress it comes with is fine for us.

I had a wood headboard so I attached a board brace across from leg to leg, drilled holes in the right place and attached the headboard that way. Answer:	The label on the pump says 110-120V at 0.9A, so that would mean 108W. (Additionally, some others have said that it takes about 5 minutes to inflate, so that means about 9 Wh consumed.)

Answer:	Instabed makes an air mattress with a second built in pump that senses a loss of air pressure and automatically adds more air. If your bed is going completely flat it probably has a leak. But it's normal for an air bed to deflate a little for two reasons. The air pressure in it can drop in colder temperatures at night, causing the air to condense and the bed look deflated. A new air mattress will always look a little deflated after a couple days because the material stretches out. That's what it's designed to do.
