Question:	What is inside the warmer that makes the old used different than a new one? Can you DIY fix it somehow
Answer:	By looking at the picture of the new one, it hasn't changed much, but looks as if it will breathe a bit better at the top.The old ones were more stuffed at the top. DIY fixing is spotty. I use mine (2 of them) like crazy in the cold, and I go through the "filaments" once a year. There is a noticeable difference between new ones and old ones. It's not that the old (used) ones won't work at all, just poorly.
Question:	What's the difference between this and the older version
Answer:	Hi Joe! Thanks for your question. The only difference is the packaging. The older version was packaged in a plastic clamshell packaging, and the new version is packaged in a much slimmer plastic packaging inside a box, which looks much more presentable. The warmer itself and the accessories are still exactly the same. Both older versions and the new version are 12-hour, and there is now also a new smaller version that works for 6 hours.
Question:	I may sound like an idiot, but how do you use it? It seems like an open flame would burn you
Answer:	I bought several of these for family members. My husband uses his often and really likes it. There is no flame because the warmer uses a catalytic burner (no flame). If you over fill the warmer it will have a small flame until the excess lighter fluid is burned off. It also takes longer to ignite it the first time you use it. Use the plastic measuring container that is included, do not over fill it, and do not spill the lighter fluid on the outside of the warmer. If you do sill any lighter fluid it will evaporate quickly. My husband keeps his in his pocket all day and sometimes into the evening, at least 8 to 10 hours, and it is a low heat and never burns or causes any concern for him.
Question:	So, if you keep it in your pocket and it lays flat, will it catch on fire
Answer:	No, there is a fiber type material that soaks up the lighter fluid...you light the filament and it burns from the fumes. I've put mine in my coat pocket "upside" down with no problems at all.

Question:	How long do they burn? Also do they really get warm/hot
Answer:	Each stick will burn ( actually smolder) for 1.5 - 2 hours, but i light them on both ends so they would last much longer if only one end is lit. They get plenty warm. I'd say they put out 2 or 3 times the heat of a "Hot Hands" chemical bag heater. The only negative is that they do smell. They give off a smokey, burning smell which will penetrate your clothes. I use them for deer hunting in extreme cold weather and much to my surprise, deer do not run the other way when they catch a wiff of the smoldering smell. I think the smell actually helps to cover up the human smell. Just my opinion.

Answer:	do not have my hunting pack handy,out in the Jeep as been coyote hunting but want to say a dozen..Use a muff type handwarmer while on stand with it burning in the red heater case it burns in with a pair of acryllic gloves and hands will never get cold and can pull them out when a shot arises.The thing gets warm though so put the red case in an old sock tip cut off.Really cold days light both ends.When you do light these let a half inch burn red before putting in the case.One stick will last me about 5-6 hours.The newer ones have a tougher time staying lit,must be making them cheaper.These are all I will use and have for over twenty years,the liquid fuel leaks,the battery ones are crap and anything else does not do it..these sticks are getting hard to find though,Walmart no longer carries them and many other chain stores do not either

Answer:	I purchased a spare replaceable catalyst the same time I ordered the Giant Size Peacock hand warmer. At the time, there was only one catalyst in stock. I have not checked since my purchase of both items. On a side note: I'm extremely happy with mine. It works great and is far superior to everything else I've tried. It is quite large and produces lots of heat for many hours if fully fueled, so the smaller one might be more suitable for people who don't need to walk around all day with a gas fired furnace in their pocket. A spare catalyst is a must. Grease, oil, or dirt will severely shorten the catalyst's life or destroy it immediately.

Otherwise I would recommend looking into a Hoover or a Bissell carpet cleaning machines - they are very good.

Answer:	Yes, the width of the changing pad varies. It's the shape of a fat peanut. The head to toe length is 28". The head/shoulder width is 15" The abdomen width is 13.5" The hips/legs width is 16" It should work well for a baby 12 months plus. Very glad to own this pad.

Answer:	Resolve Easy Clean Pro Carpet Cleaning gadget makes cleaning easier but is not required when using Resolve High Traffic Carpet Foam.
Question:	Do they stay warm the full 18 hours (assuming 32 deg F ambient)? If not, how long
Answer:	It works wonderfully for my carpet and smells wonderful but I couldn’t guarantee it works on German Shepherds? I’d wash it with Pinesol once a month.
