Answer:	I bought the smaller of the two sizes and they were still too big. I don’t have small hands but I think they were sized for Men.

In the palm area is a flap where you can insert a warmer and on the back of the mitten there is another slot for a secondhand warmer if you wish to place another hand warmer in that slot. However the slot in the palm area becomes separated when shoveling. I put velcro strips in the slot area to solve the problem. Works great on the coldest days.

Answer:	We have used it in pockets of our coats and had no problems with leaving it on. You should make sure your sleeping bag can deal with some heat without melting.
