The bags all show the weight in pounds and kilograms. They also show the recommended daily amount for different sized animals. As an example, a 5# bag of cat food weighs 2.25Kg or 2250g. The recommendation for a small cat is 1/2 cup or 53g per day. My faithful calculator assures me that 2250 divided by 53 works out to slightly more than 42 days. For a large cat it is 2/3 cup or 75g per day which works out to 30 days. The dog food bags give the same information for various sized dogs. I hope that helps.

Answer:	I did some research and talked to Lee, the garden of life representative. The GOL iron in this supplement is non-heme iron. This typically has an absorption rate of 2-20%; however, GOL reports that combining the iron in a whole food process increases the absorption such that it is possible to absorb the full 120%. For example, I have read that digesting Iron with Vitamin C can increase Iron absorption by 30%. Each person's absorption rate will vary; for example, a person with Iron deficiency will absorb more Iron than someone not deficient. Therefore, it would be virtually impossible to state the actual absorption of the product. GOL merely states that they provide the constituents to maximize Iron absorption up to the 120%.
