Answer:	I have been using my Vivohome 5.3 on 3 camping trips. The unit is a I expected. No oders when the lid is closed. I do both #1 & #2 no smells unless the flush handle is open. Cleaning is easy. The only issue I have with the unit is the seat is too small for male body parts, if you know what I mean. Sturdy and compact. Great unit for the price

Answer:	I don't think it will. The inside lip on the toilet is a little less (a little less than 11 inches) the the height of a 5 gallon bucket by about a 1\4 inch. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Smells a little but not worse than a portapotty. We use Camco Toilet Waste Bags from Amazon. They have an inner black bag that contains biodegradable powder that gels liquid and an utter bag that you fold the inner bag inside and zip lock to throw away. The whole thing works pretty well.
Question:	What is the U-shaped channel for - I haven't been able to figure out where it goes or how to use it
Answer:	Just look at the picture and snap the pieces on as the picture! It's made like a real toilet!

Answer:	You're correct. It's 9 in. front to back and 8 1/4 in. wide. You made me curious, so I measured my bathroom toilet. It's considered a long bowl and measures 10 in. front to back and the same 8 1/4 in. wide. Thank you for helping me learn something new. If I'm ever confronted by a mugger who says "tell me how big your toilet is or I'll blow your head off" I now know the answer. You may have saved my life!
Question:	What happens after 50 flushes? Is there a battery and is it replaceable? Not enthusiastic about purchasing a new one every 50 flushes
Answer:	There are two halves, top half has a cap to fill clean water and a plunger to push the clean water into the tank. The bottom half is for the waste which needs to be empty. There is an indicator in the front to let you know when it's due. I empty it about 3/4 full. I made the mistake once when the level was all red, DON'T DO THAT! 3/4 is best. To break down the waste, I use Walex Bio-Pak (for breaking down waste) and Porta-Pak (deodorizer), one each. I put them after setting it up and after each cleaning. It almost completely turns it into liquid. Fresh scent porta-pak seems to smell better (blue package) than lavender (purple package), however bio-back (green package) IS DEFINITELY NEEDED to break down waste. After the bottom tank gets full, (more like 40 flushes than fifty) it needs to be emptied, rinsed out with clean water and set back up. After its set up put in one bio-pak and one porta-pak. You can order through Amazon for those. The water tank, upper portion holds about 2.5 gallons (about 9.5 liters), I don't pull the plunger all the way up, only about half way or as needed. This way it conserves on water. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Unfortunately not. A five gallon bucket is too tall for this 13.5" tall toilet seat.

Answer:	Weight limit is specified on the product; however, through experience I don't let my husband (250 pounds) use it. He has bent one previously. If I were to guess, I wouldn't suggest anyone over 200 use it. Also, FYI: on my second unit, the "footies" wore out and I was able to replace them. I found them at my local hardware store. Quite surprised by that.

Answer:	You open the seat top. Place the bag over the bottom. Put seat down and go. When finished you just remove the bag.

Answer:	If the floor in the back seat has a lot of room it should fit. This toilet is very low so if you have the room to put it on the floor it should fit okay. I hope this helps.
Question:	how high is it when unfolded
Answer:	Helen,Well... with the lid up and the seat in place... it's approximately 15" high. I am 5' 10" and 195 lbs and have no problems with it. If using it on a flat surface it's a little low, but if using it for camping, simply take 3 bricks with you and level it out. This will raise it well over 2".The best thing is, just use CHEAP 13 gallon bags and don't pay the ridiculous price for the "Doodie" bags. The worst thing is, the hole could be bigger but is OK. And we leave ours set up because the legs are a little hard to break down because the plastic locks are extremely tight.Over all, it was a good purchase and we recommend it.
Question:	Do you think a bedpan will fit to be used instead of the bag
Answer:	A bedpan might not fit between the legs, however using simple plastic bags that you get from grocery stores does the job just fine; double up for added protection. The grocery bags fit perfectly and are far more affordable than the expensive 'recommended' bags.

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure, but I think so. My toddler is allergic to flame retardants (we found that out early on from a toy) and she is able to touch this without a reaction. If there are any on here there is not a significant amount.

Question:	Does this toilet require any chemicals
Answer:	The height IS adjustable but only between two settings and you have to unscrew, reposition the board and rescrew it in to adjust the height. Nothing about this thing is foldable tho.
