Answer:	You're correct. It's 9 in. front to back and 8 1/4 in. wide. You made me curious, so I measured my bathroom toilet. Answer:	There are two halves, top half has a cap to fill clean water and a plunger to push the clean water into the tank. The bottom half is for the waste which needs to be empty. There is an indicator in the front to let you know when it's due. I empty it about 3/4 full. I made the mistake once when the level was all red, DON'T DO THAT! 3/4 is best. To break down the waste, I use Walex Bio-Pak (for breaking down waste) and Porta-Pak (deodorizer), one each. I put them after setting it up and after each cleaning. It almost completely turns it into liquid. Fresh scent porta-pak seems to smell better (blue package) than lavender (purple package), however bio-back (green package) IS DEFINITELY NEEDED to break down waste. After the bottom tank gets full, (more like 40 flushes than fifty) it needs to be emptied, rinsed out with clean water and set back up. After its set up put in one bio-pak and one porta-pak. You can order through Amazon for those. The water tank, upper portion holds about 2.5 gallons (about 9.5 liters), I don't pull the plunger all the way up, only about half way or as needed. This way it conserves on water. Hope this helps.

I believe most, if not all, have some sort of citrus oil in them, so that is something to consider if you absolutely hate or are allergic to lemon or bergomot (type of orange). You may not smell the citrus depending on what scent you choose, but it will be there. Best bet is to order one of the gift sets that come with about 5 of the little disposable sprays (only 3-5 uses each). That way you can sample different popular scents.

Answer:	It uses regular Venus cartridges so I would assume so. I haven't checked to see but I think that these would fit a regular Venus handle.

Answer:	As an experienced woodworker, here’s what I can say for sure. The stain will have little-to-no effect on the painted portions of the wood. As for the exposed wood, the saturation and penetration of the stain will depend on what condition the wood is in. Having not seen your project, I can’t predict exactly what’s going to happen. But I can tell you Varathane Fast Dry Wood Stain is incredible. We bought 4 or 5 different colors to try, and have been thoroughly impressed. Answer:	I have been using my Vivohome 5.3 on 3 camping trips. The unit is a I expected. No oders when the lid is closed. I do both #1 & #2 no smells unless the flush handle is open. Cleaning is easy. The only issue I have with the unit is the seat is too small for male body parts, if you know what I mean. Sturdy and compact. Great unit for the price

Answer:	Living in the country with a barn too , I'd say thats a great idea. Wish I had a guest room in the barn. In a stall inside the barn is a perfect place for this port a potty so ladies dont hafta go outside in middle of nite or 1st thing in morn. If it works good inside my house will work gr8 in the barn.

Answer:	A composting toilets is $1000. This is $70. I lived in my Airstream and this was my toilet.( Only #1 went in the holding tank for #2 put a grocery sack over the bowl ) I used it probably 5 times a day. After three months the rubber gasket got worn out on the flusher. Rigged it for a month .the remaining 5 months I just used my shower head sprayer which was a foot away. I am now ordering #2. I can buy this 14 times for the cost of a composting toilet..that plus my #2 go in the trash every day usually within 10 minutes of the bootycakes arrival..they don't compost inside my tiny space

Answer:	You can as long as it is not overloaded with toilet paper & other solids.
Question:	How much water per flush is recommended? How many days of one person using it for mostly "solids" would it work for
Answer:	Well this unit holds about 5 gallons of water, each flush is less then quater of gallon depending how many times you pump to dispose the waste. 1 to 3 flushes should do it. It has a decent pressure, not like a real toilet but enough to clean the bowl. I took it with me camping and I had three females ranging from 7 and 34 years, of age. Believe it or not I only had to dispose the waste every two to three days depending on use.

The Flush Tank

The top half flush tank holds 2.5 gallons of fresh water and has a toilet with a lid, seat and bowl. On the top of the toilet, there is a cap that can be removed to fill the flush tank with clean water. On the other side there is the bellows-type pump that flushes the water into the tank for waste removal. The sides feature latches for securing the toilet to the waste tank.

The Waste Tank

On the bottom half waste tank, there is a sliding gate valve that opens for waste, and closes to create an odor and water-tight seal. It has a 5.3 gallon waste holding capacity. Answer:	I would dump it out in the toilet and then use water from a water jug and rinse it out NOT in the sink but on the ground, keep away from spigots and if you can find out if it is o.k. to put bleach, toilet crystals or if Camco has a product to clean it out/ If anyone knows what Camco recommends to clean the bowl post here.

Answer:	I'm about 290 and it holds me just fine., and I'm 63 years old This little toilet has been a God-send. When I have to get up during the night, my legs stiffen and it was soooo dang hard to get up and walk to find a toilet during the middle of the night while out camping. I put this little commode right inside inside my tent with me (only urine during the night). I use plastic bags from Smiths and use 4 little strips of duck tape to tape it down. Wahlaw... I'm good for the night. In the morning I just tie up the bag and toss it out. Get a new bag ready for the next night. I love this toilet!!! Now, with all that said, I do wish the manufacturer would have designed it just a little bit higher like 2" more. That would have made this thing absolutely perfect!!! But, I think it's still a lot better and a lot more 'stabler' (especially when you're heavy) than using a bucket!

Answer:	No, it's not the 12-pack. It's just one kit. It's a great item.
