Answer:	Yes. Mantles are the globe like membranes that contain the burning gas which gives off the light.
Question:	This lamp it’s advertising that you don’t wed matches to light up and is not true . So I consider this advertising to be false .Why
Answer:	Some of Colemans lanterns, such as the 1000 lumens model, require matches to light while others,such as the Deluxe Perfectflow, have the InstaStart electronic spark ignition. Others models use baterries. The model 1000 clearly states that it requires matches to light.
Question:	How does this lantern compare to the Coleman Compact perfect flow. (Other than the 694 lumen difference
Answer:	HelloLittle Folks Book and Toy is a Coleman dealer. The perfect flow operates the same way except that when you want to store it, the glass shield is protected because the top pulls down. As far as the efficiency of the product, both function and have similar light capacity with the perfect flow a little more luminescence.
