Answer:	I do not see a lockout. The button is very flat and not likely to be activated. You can pull a battery out also to be sure.

Answer:	You use the white plastic tube if you use a single 18650 battery. Usually these flashlights (haven't bought this particular one), come w/ an assembly that allows for 3 AAA batteries, which is slightly larger in diameter than the 18650 single battery. So, to prevent sloshing around, the white insert hold the battery more securely in place. HTH.
Question:	Can it do strobe? I need a flashlight with strobe mode
Answer:	Actually it has two strobe modes. One fast, and the other is an SOS (three dits for the S, and three dahs for a O). Pretty cool if you ever get stuck somewhere. A little tricky to work the switch, but mine works well when I slightly press the side of the button on the rear of the flashlight.

Answer:	Only if your exposure on the camera is set at about 4 seconds for a still shot up close using a f3.5 lens. The lumens are too low to get any sort of illumination past 5 feet even with longer exposure time. Then again, if you have a camera taking still photography at night with exposures times that are numbered nearer to minutes than they are seconds... chances are you wouldn't be asking this question.

Answer:	With the lantern standing on it's top and the bottom removed, iif you look into the lantern battery compartment, you will see a stem sticking up in the middle . That stem is round with a raised pointy area on it. Look at the bottom piece and you will see a hollow stem sticking up that has an opening with a matching pointy area. In order to put the bottom on the lantern you have to match those two pointed areas together , slide the bottom in and then twist clockwise.. If you don't match the stem in the lantern to the hollow tube in the bottom piece they won't go together.

Answer:	This will blow through premium alkaline batteries like Duracell, down 50% in five months and dead in nine months. I am suspicious of people upvoting the claim it is like a smoke detector. This is good light, it is NOT a good light for emergency unless you insert a piece of thin cardboard to block one of the contacts.

Question:	How long does it take to recharge
Answer:	Probably, but it will add to breathing effort, which might not be ideal when you are under heavy exertion. Also, the weight and size of the pods might not be ideal, and you would be well-served replacing them with lightweight, low restriction disc filters like the 3M 2291 or 2297 (they fit right on -- I use the 2297). There's also some optical distortion and restriction to the wearer's field of view, neither of which is a big problem for close-up work in a workshop but that might be for Airsoft. I know this respirator well (I totally took mine apart and corrected some assembly issues), but I'm not an expert on Airsoft, so maybe someone with more experience on Airsoft can chime in if I've botched this answer.
