Answer:	Only if your exposure on the camera is set at about 4 seconds for a still shot up close using a f3.5 lens. The lumens are too low to get any sort of illumination past 5 feet even with longer exposure time. Then again, if you have a camera taking still photography at night with exposures times that are numbered nearer to minutes than they are seconds... chances are you wouldn't be asking this question.
Question:	How long will the batteries last at max brightness
Answer:	4-6 hours for me using Duracell. The issue is the light discharges the batteries slowly when turned off, so beware of storing them for months on end or for an emergency.

Answer:	No, the red light light does not act as a pointer. Nothing is projected from it. The red lights will blink though. Sorry, this is not what you need.

Answer:	I run with one light every morning when it's very dark out. Not sure how far it projects, I'd say about 10'. My favorite running lights that I've used.

Answer:	It does not have strobe. It has mainly 2 options wherein the 4 small lights illuminate or the center light itself shines light. All I’d the settings VERY bright
