Answer: | I use mine frequently and for 3-4 hours at a time On brightest setting. I have not had a problem with it overheating. If you’ve heard that it’s a problem for this light and you are going to use it big wall climbing, or in a similar capacity I wouldn’t risk it. If you are like me and just use it for night time hiking, it works excellent. Never had an issue. It replaced my Princeton Tech headlamp and I haven’t seen a single downside since switching over to the bd |

Answer: | Ive used mine extensively for a year now, and it has very little visible scratches. I keep it in my backpack with everything else, and it seems fine. It has a lock-out button as well so it doesn’t accidentally turn on. |
