Answer:	isn't? I think it is made and shipped in china. So maybe that's why.. idk. It took a month or more to receive it. But it is a really nice hawk. Very durable and looks mean.

Answer:	yes, the metal is a solid piece all the way through. Only the hammer end has a nice replaceable u-shaped integration bolted through the end. Very durable and I have put it through the works.
Question:	Is the axe a full tang? Is the hammer head bolted, welded or one piece of the axe head
Answer:	I am not sure if it is a true full tang. The hammer head is a u shaped piece of metal that is bolted through the tang of the axe. I used/abused mine a lot this winter splitting firewood and deicing a deck. I usually struck the axe into the log to cut and pounded the hammer side with another log to push through. After a few hundred hammers the 2 bolts loosened up. I have tightened them a few times. It is a very sturdy axe, as I beat the hell out of it.. seriously. I would say that I have easily hit it as hard as I can over 1000 times. Even the bolts holding the plastic grips on were loose a few times. I would like to try some locktite and see if it helps. But I just know to check them once and a while. And for the record, they have never loosened when using the axe side only, just when I am hammering on the hammer end.

Answer:	I did not get sheaths with these items. I return these items because immediately one broke upon throwing them they were not balanced and they were tiny

Answer:	I believe Its mainly intended as a throwing hawk! And it preforms that funtion very well .but i use it for light camp chores as well like chopping kindling sharpening stakes or pegs! Its a little light to do much bigger tasks without damaging it or yourself. As a weapon it could be real handy provided youd know how to use it in that capacity or ever find yourself in need of such a thing! Hope this helped M.E.

Answer:	I had the same issue. The manufacturer of this particular throwing ax does not make a sheath or any type of frog or tak. most carriers used this style of axe to throw and would just slide in a belt or use a ring frog to carry. I hade a leather shop hand make sheath/frog tak for each of my 4 axes like this one. I do not like nylon or rubber blade covers and replace with leather tak handmade for each of my axes. They are well balanced and do throw well. I did put a sharper edge on mine as the edge from the forge was not well enough to get a good stick into the wood target. I hope this helps. Some resellers will add an edge cover but rarely a sheath.

Question:	Does DNA trace evidence clean off completely
Answer:	Unfortunately, organic proteins are incredibly hard to remove from surfaces, and this tool has many small crevices that they could end up getting into. However, depending on how quickly it is cleaned, it is possible to clean the entire thing after an accidental stain. Neutrex, and similar oxy cleaners have proven effective in completely removing blood proteins from surfaces, which are incredibly hard to remove normally. There are other items that may do the trick as well, as blood contains hemoglobin, which grabs as much oxygen as it can (which oxy cleaners and other substances such as hydrogen peroxide provide in abundance). Once it's had its fill, it becomes impossible to be detected by any conventional biological test. Saliva is also excellent at breaking down blood proteins in a pinch. An acidic solution may also work, but you risk damaging the ax in the process.
