Question:	Are there any replacement caps available that do NOT have a spigot? I'm looking for a more reliable sealing solution than trusting teflon tape
Answer:	I'm pretty sure Teflon is Carcinogenic and I can't imagine using it on a water jug! I'd try a clean plastic sandwich baggie as a gasket if I was putting the spout back inside,. Or just unscrew the cap and put one (or wax paper doubled up) over the opening and rescrew spigot/cap if leaving the spout on while transporting.

Answer:	Mine clearly state on the containers in English “FDA approved and BPA free”. In French it says “sans BPA”, meaning without BPA.

Answer:	The wall thickness is 4 millimeters which is about 160 mils which is about 5/32 inches. It is a rigid container but not stackable. They are almost 60 pounds when full and placing just one on top of another will cause the bottom jug to bulge.
Question:	What are the dimensions of this container: total height, width, thickness
Answer:	Sitting upright, it's supposed to have an 11"x11.3" base. I'd call it more like a fat 12"x12" When you fill it with water, the sides bulge and it will not fit in the same space it fits when empty. For instance, it does not fit into an RV stairwell when full.

Question:	Can the spigot be turned around and placed inside the can (like some red gas cans)? I don’t want a line of these tanks with spigots sticking up stored
Answer:	I was able to fit 5 lbs of spaghetti noodles in one of the bins after taking the noodles out of the boxes. With 5 lbs, it is pretty full & I had to shake the container a bit to get the noodles to settle in without leaving extra space. I got 5 lbs of angel hair to fit in the other bin.. wider noodles like fettuccine might only fit 4 lbs out of the packaging.
Question:	Can I buy just the spigot o ring
Answer:	The opening is plenty wide to fit baking cups. What a great idea!

Question:	Do you sell lids w straw separately
Answer:	Each container can hold more than one 1lb package of spaghetti. I'm not sure one container can hold an entire 2 1lb packages, but I have put an entire 1lb package in one container and had a good amount of space remaining. Certainly each container will not hold more than 2 1lb packagess - that would be the maximum for each.
Question:	My straw is not working properly I can barely get any water. I had to switch to the other cap. Is there anyway to fix this
Answer:	I believe they would. I have been using them for other pasta to keep the bag clutter out of the cabinet!

Answer:	Thanks for your interest. The dimension of this container is 3.8 x 3.8 x 12 inch
Question:	does it come with a carrying strap so that I can take it anywhere
Answer:	Actually, each container with lid properly seated and securely attached is 12-1/4", NOT 12". This is a problem for me since the pantry shelf space we designated for these is just over 12", and these containers do not even come close to fitting. These containers are also tapered; wider at the top than at the bottom. So although it appears that there is ample space at the top to add more spaghetti for instance, not all will go all the way to the bottom. These are nice containers though.

Answer:	Yes. Most water coolers are set up this way. By the way, you can reuse those caps. I can get as many uses out of 1 bottle cap as I can the bottle. You just have to put the little center back into the cap.
Question:	What is the recycling number on the bottom
Answer:	I'd like to compare them to the bottle caps used by Sparkletts. You put them on by pressing them firmly over the bottle neck. For removal you can peel them a little on the side, then take off. Even though you peeled them a little they are reusable. Might even be a little easier to put on after that.

Question:	cleaning the mold out of spigot
Answer:	After each use, I usually clean the spigot as well as the container; however, if I had to deal with mold, I personally would soak the spigot in vinegar and water for about 20-30 minutes and rinse. If mold is still present, I would clean it with bleach, wash, and then rinse. I hope I was helpful.
Question:	Can I use this for milk? I don't see why not but has anyone tried it
Answer:	I make about 1 1/2 gallons of non-fat dry milk at a time and the easiest way to do it is in one of these containers. I use a 2 gallon one and put in half the water, then the milk powder, shake well, then the rest of the water. However, after I make it in this, I put it in pint and half-pint glass bottles. The milk tastes much better from glass, and the bottles are easy to fill using the spigot. Then I run hot water through the container and let it air dry until next time. It might be hard to wash out if you stored milk in it though.
Question:	Is this a free-flowing spigot or do you have to keep pressing for water to come out
Answer:	It's free flowing. Just remember to loosen the cover on top so air can get in, otherwise it starts to come out slow.
Question:	Think these would work for Large Quantity of Sangria for party
Answer:	They should work well. The opening is quite large so putting in the wine and fruit will not be a problem. However, while I don't think large pieces of fruit will be a problem, small bits of pulp might clog the spout. Therefore, I suggest that you strain the sangria before putting it in this container, to remove any pits or pulp that could clog the spout.

Question:	Does your body ever get used to peeing a lot and eventually chill out
Answer:	YES I tried both and had no problems. If the bag is too full and freezes the expansion could rupture anything, though. I poured boiling water into two of them and put pressure on them and nothing gave way and there was no distortion. Answer:	YES - No problem. And with the Sawyer Coupler (SP150) to attach to the output (clean water side) of the large Sawyer filter. On the output, squeeze the air out of the bag then attach and it will gravity feed and automatically shut off when full. Squeeze hard on the input of the Sawyer filters, the bag is sturdy. Question:	Why shouldn't i use soap to clean it
Answer:	I'm sure that it would bond the two PVC pieces together, but if the PVC application is for anything other than a stand or a template of some sort, I would not use it. They make PVC primer and glue that you can get at any hardware store and it's very cheap.

Answer:	In 2015 I had this product go 7 years after the expiration date listed on the product & it still performed reliably. It is a good product.

Answer:	I have only used it for cold, but I was just at an event that served hot cocoa in one of these and I was surprised by how hot the cocoa was.

Answer:	Technically, yes. I mash grains in the cooler for brewing beer and it works very well. Method:1. get liquid up to temp2. add food3. bring back up to temp4. pour in cooler and capnotes: I have never mashed longer than 2 hours. Final mash temp is usually near 160F. Remember, sous vide is not designed for large items, it can leave foods in the danger zone 40F-140F for way too long.

Answer:	This cooler has a flat top so you sit on it or you could put another smaller cooler on top and dispense from both. There is a groove to lift the lid on the orange/white model. The Yellow/Red has a handle to pull the top off and is more of a commercial type cooler.

Answer:	The simple answer is yes, provided you have first liquified the person with a solution of water and potassium hydroxide. The process which is called alkaline hydrolysis dissolves all the body tissue except the bones, separating the liquid from the solid remains. The now 'liquified' person can be easily transferred by a process know as pouring into the cooler. You will likely need a second Igloo Cooler in which to store the bones. I trust this helps.

Answer:	I don't know if they have a replacement but if not it's something you should be able to get at a local hardware store. Just bring nozzle with you for sizing.
