Answer:	You can absolutely ascend with this rope and you need static to do this properly. For falling or descending, yes the same rope can be used by backing it up with a prusik with more dynamic rope that is dynamic. Also, always keep a static rope above you and always tight. A fall turns into a no shock swinging situation. You just need to know about backing ropes up and proper climbing and descending.

Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	Probably Asia. You would have to pay at least a couple hundred US dollars for something of this quality if made in USA or Europe. Mine is in a mountain cabin about 200 miles from me so I can’t look at the label on mine.

Answer:	I don't believe that it is. The reason is that they misstate the capacity, so even if they claimed it was certified I wouldn't trust that claim. However, It's a pretty good harness. I just wouldn't trust it with a dead fall for more than a couple meters just because I can't trust their claims and therefore don't know just how "good" it is.
Question:	Can i expect full support while using both side d rings? i'm concerned the body harness will slide up into my ribs while using the side d rings
Answer:	The side d rings are designed to be used horizontally, like for a strap to go around a tree. The front d ring is designed for vertical loading so that your legs support your weight. If you were to support your weight with the side d rings the waist harness part will raise up into your ribs just like you are concerned about. It would also be painful because the top of the waist band would also twist and force the top edge of the waist band into your side with a lot of leverage. And it could also cause the leg harness to be pulled up into the old nads, which would probable make the rib pain seem mild in comparison! I looked at the information on amazon for this item and the picture illustrations gave some good insights on how to properly use both sets of d rings. Good Luck!

Answer:	CE is a European safety standard that is widely accepted worldwide, usually considered equivalent to the ISO standard more commonly seen in the US. It does NOT stand for “Chinese Export”. However, it is not equivalent to the applicable ANSI standard.
Question:	I’m wondering what type of lanyard and clips we need to go with this harness
Answer:	This harness, at bare minimum could take just a rope tied to the reinforced loop. However for a better time and more versatility, a repel device would be great, figure 8 or a black diamond box. Carabiners for climbing is also a must, more is better. This is not a full body harness, so a lanyard with any kind of fall could have some serious consequences, but for general climbing, rock, tree, gym, this is a great budget option.
Question:	I am around 260 pounds and I am also on a budget would this support me in a bad fall
Answer:	The harness is rated to 22kn which is 4,945 lbs. So definitely would take your weight. If you do take a fall I would buy another because of the stress put on it after a fall could compromise it's integrity. It's really similar to the Yates harness which is comparable. I would definitely recommend it if your on a budget and need a decent harness. If your putting in long hours in it I would bite the bullet and buy a better one but if your only looking to do some work around the house,whether it be tree work or working on the roof I would definitely buy it. Answer:	I normally wear an 8 wide shoe, so I ordered an 8. The plain Croc flip flops fit fine in a size 8, but these were too narrow and just a smidge too short. They were a bit uncomfortable so I sent them back. As for other wide shoes, I also have a pair of swiftwater sandals in a pink and purple print that fit nicely, so they must be a bit wider. They are very comfortable.
