Answer:	Hi. I wear a 33/34 inch waist and have more athletic legs. I bought an XL (34"-36"). It fits perfectly and stays comfortable all day. It is a snug fit, but honestly if I want to be seen in my underwear, it is a perfect fit. I have thought about buying the XXL to try a more relaxed fit, but honestly I am worried that it might not be as comfortable or fit as well (in the legs or that it might bunch/bind during the day). If I was buying for you just based on your waist size, I would by the Large (31"-33"). Hopefully that will work for you. I LOVE this pair and have already bought a 2nd pair in a different color (still the XL). If it doesn't fit perfectly, you could always gift that pair and buy a better size! Good luck!

Answer:	I'm 6', 165 lbs. with a 32-33 inch waist, and I bought the large. They are snug on me, but that is the way I like them, as I use them as work-out shorts at home. If you size up they would probably work good for sleeping, as they are soft and comfortable. They will shrink up if washed in hot water though. (Ask me how I know!! :D)

Answer:	I am 172 cm and 102 kg. My US pant size is 42 waist and 29 inseam. I ordered XXL, one size up since I was likely to wear thermals underneath for far northern Canada in the winter. They were fine for daytime temps, but for nighttime excursions (aurora chasing) I wore heavy rented bib overalls, fur-lined parka and heavy insulated boots. When temps were quite low, I wore the overalls over thermals and pants, otherwise could manage with only thermals underneath. They run a little small in my opinion. You should do okay with large (and a belt). Best to check with manufacturer on exact sizes.
