The 14 fit me but I needed more room in the hips so I sized up..they were for work and I wanted room. and then I get the gap in the back around the waist so I just wore I belt. The length wasn’t bad. They have little drawer strings around the ankles and you can tighten them up. They weren’t that long and I’m 5’2. They don’t come with a belt which I hoped they did. Hope this helps!
Question:	I am 5’3 and 145-150lbs. What size should I get? There seem to be a lot of size confusion
Answer:	I am 5'3 ans about 160lbs myself. I ordered the 16, which the tag reads XXL, i carry extra weight more on my belly than my legs or top. I have to use the ties at the ankles to keep the ends up as they go a full foot past mine, but the fit around the waist fits me just snug enough to not fall down but loose enough to where I'm not muffin topping at all. The fit around the thighs and calves are pretty loose but I prefer it. I ordered another pair one size down, the 14, tag read an XL, it fit tight around my waist but length wise it was perfect. If you dont mind it fitting like skinny jeans on the waist, try the 14. But if you prefer them a bit less snug, then the 16.
