Answer:	I happened to be wearing these and was near a tape measurer, when I saw your question. These are pretty stretchy. At the top where the fingers come out, the thread tightens at the seam. It still goes to 4 inches, but stops there. The rest of the glove can stretch more than 4 inches. I actually wear them to bed sometimes. They are loose fitting and comfortable to me, and I don't like tight gloves or socks.

Answer:	I have never had a problem with these falling down. To give some context, I wear size 7 or 7-1/2 in shoes, 1 size up for boots. That being said, these socks are great everyday and/or dress socks but I would not consider them suitable for hiking or for long runs. I have worn them to exercise classes, jogging and short runs of no more than 5 miles with no issues, but I generally prefer to save these for everyday because they are so soft and pretty. Ymmv.

Answer:	I don't believe they are preshrunk. You can wash them in the washer. We washed them in cold water and dried them without a problem. They shrank a little bit, but not much. My daughter didn't notice much of a difference after washing.

Question:	How well does the antibacterial lining work for odor protection
Answer:	I've not spent a lot of time smelling the inside of my socks, but so far, so good. However, I wore them only intermittantly over a week or so, and tried my best to allow them to totally dry out between wearings. I was not always successful with this, but did not notice an odor. I did wash them by hand when I got home and allowed them to totally dry and I've noticed no odor.

Answer:	I did not find that my feet were 100% dry when I wore these socks, but I was wading in water and there was also some leakage around the ankle. However, I was pretty impressed with how little water did make it through the material.

Answer:	My socks are about 6 inches above my ankles. The socks are a little difficult to get off because they are so tight you have to push the front to your instep them with your fingers pull over your heel rather hard to do but the socks are comfortable not too warm but feel good

Answer:	Would they yes. Could they yes. But seem pretty thick and like a wet suite for biking.

Answer:	Yes, I used the socks because I work as QA and I’m wearing heavy rubber boots. And so that is the reason why I wear them and also because if you work where it’s cold these socks help from humid and wetness they keep my feet dry at all times.
