Answer:	I would not use anything big enough to cover the butane cover section as if that butane canister being thinner metal gets to hot it becomes a ticking time bomb. If I remember right I'm thinking they don't recommend anything over 10-11" in diameter in pots to keep from reflecting heat back down over butane cover. If using the 1 lb propane bottles probably not an issue. You could also wrap the rubber hose with some reflective aluminum foil that goes into stove.

Question:	do you need to buy a connecting hose as well
Answer:	No It's not needed and no connection. Just one 8 ounce can other brand or 8.8 ounce of coleman butane and you're good to go.
Question:	What can I place under the burner to use on my dining table
Answer:	Camping I do not use anything and none of my plastic table tops have had any injury do to heat. Nor has the metal or wood picnic tables at campsties. I bought the flameless version last fall after seeing one at a caving convention in July last year in MT. It will allow me to have a fameless version to cook when our wild fire season in MT is demanding no flame cooking. They often allow the flameless version which by the way is not flameless just has a kind of closed cover on top like an electric burner making it appear flameless. Under the burner is a flame unlike this version and which has an open burner much like a gas range burners have. Makes all the difference when camping during wildfire season however. BY THE WAY if you buy one that does not have a wind shield make one or buy one they make all the difference in the world for fuel effeciency as well as heating up your pot. I bought my stove over 10 years ago with no wind shield and made one about 8 years ago from aluminum sheeting sold on Amazon. I cut it into tall pieces that fold up and hinged them together with metal wire coil binders and yes used the paper punch that uses those wire binders to make the holes. It worked great. And it folds up and fits right on top of stove tucked inside the plastic case that came with that stove. Bottom line most of these stoves are pretty much equal with some slight differences. Overall great. At home I find using a silicone sink mat even though it has ridges to dry dishes or use as a hot plate works extremely well to keep it from sliding. These also sold on Amazon are rated over 500 degrees and food safe silicone. Come in variety of colors but I prefer frosted or clear. I have not used the mats camping. A Silicone baking sheet my not insulate as much as you are concerned with. But like I said have never had so much heat to harm any surface including the plastic folding tables I often use when camping if there is no picnic table available. Question:	How long will a can of butane last with this stove
Answer:	I have not used this stove yet, but I thought I saw a canister can last up to an hour and a half or two hours depending on how high you have it.
Question:	Can it be used inside
Answer:	This is our second one, we use them for camping, backyard cooking, power outages, emergency kit/ travel kitchen, for many Asian table cooked foods like hotpots, shabu shabu, stir fries... I enjoy cooking on it, it sits on the glass top stove with a vent above, windows 6' and 15' away on either side, and a comfortable cooking height. The fuel cans last longer if you do not open it 100% to cook, we find open about 75-85% works fine. In about 8 years we've never had a problem, nor during indoor cooking, has the co2 monoxide detector gone off. If you use it inside, make sure you have good cross ventilation, and a working carbon monoxide detector nearby. This uses oxygen, and can be dangerous if you don't have windows sort of across from each other, open slightly (we have them open about 1 to 1.5" in winter or rain, wider in summer, and if there's no wind, we have a fan, electric or battery) blowing out the closer window. Excessive? Not if you were almost killed by co2 poisoning when the furnace repairman didn't put it back together right and we had all the co2 coming into the house. Now our all electric house has a battery co2 detector. Hope this helps for uses & sadety...

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure but I think it should, provided the adapter is for this kind of Coleman propane stove. Personally, I use a refill adapter to refill my One-LB propane bottles from the 20-LB BBQ propane tank. I like the ease of the 1-LB bottles. The 20-LB tanks are too bulky for camping trips. Cheerios.

Answer:	Depends on how cold. Butane doesn't work well below 35-40F. If you need a stove for consistent temps around freezing or below, go with a propane model.

Answer:	Absolutely. Any pot or pan works fine. Actually, a cast iron skillet would work great. The stove can put out quite a bit of heat, I've used these for a stock pot.

Answer:	The butane fuel can only be loaded in its can. Open the fuel canister compartment cover. Remove the cap on the fuel canister. Insert the canister with the collar notch facing upward. The valve on the canister goes into a small funnel shaped fitting. There is a spring loaded latch that fits into the collar notch. Close the compartment and activate the fuel canister lock lever on the front of the stove. The stove is now ready to use.

Answer:	I bought mine here and, yes, it did come with a storage case. The case is plastic and is handy. I don't know why Amazon does not state this in the product description but I do know they do a lot of "cut and paste" when listing products and sometimes the product source varies. In the side pictures, notice the one with the stove and the apparent box it comes in. There is a handle shown in the box view. That is the handle of the plastic carry case inside the box, so if it does not come with a carry case, you can send it back at no cost if you want to. I believe you will get a case and I know you will love this stove. I use mine for when the power goes out. Some Walmarts carry the gas cannisters and some do not.
Question:	whats the largest diameter pan you can safely use on this without the butane cartridge getting hot and exploding? also is there a manual online anywhere
Answer:	It's not a question of the butane cartridge getting hot. It's below and to the side of the flame. The pot support has a lip that limits the pot size to 10-3/4 inches or 27.5cm. Any pot larger than that will not be supported in a stable fashion and would be in danger of slipping and slopping out hot contents.
Question:	How long does the butane cylinder last
Answer:	Don't know for sure, I fried up a batch of potatoes and onions (twice) as well as some walleye fillets and chicken wings (sever batches) and there seems to be plenty of fuel left in the cannister. Bottom line..... one fuel can will go a long way. I plan to take two with me for a week of shore lunches in Canada in June and that should be more than enough.

Answer:	I would think china. We use it for cooking outside and a canister of butane lasts a long time. But, that's just me and we're typically cooking one dish and not a dinner. You may use more. It's cheap and often sold in 3 and 4pks. If you're cooking for 4 people 3 x day =12 meals, I would guess two might be as much as you'd need. But I suggest you buy a 4 pack and see how much you use. If you're feeling scientific you could make an approximation by weighting the canister, cooking a typical meal and weighing the canister again and seeing how much you used.
Question:	Appoximately how many hours of cooking can i get with 1 fuel can using it on the gas one gs-3000 portable gas stove? at approx. a med-high setting
Answer:	We took this bad boy camping for 2 weeks and went through 1 1/2 cans of fuel (cooking nearly every night). I would stock up on cans however, as some states dont have these readily available. This stove is great! Love the sturdy carry case too!

Answer:	The stove says on it "NOT FOR HOUSEHOLD USE", and the instruction manual contains 4 different warnings about using it inside (reproduced below). When butane burns it normally produces harmless carbon dioxide; however, if there isn't sufficient oxygen available (such as when in an poorly ventilated space) then it will form toxic carbon monoxide instead. If you do decide to ignore the warnings and use it indoors, then make sure that the room is well-ventilated, and make sure that you have a carbon monoxide detector. ---- The cover of the manual has 2 relevant warnings on it: FOR OUTDOOR USE AS A CAMPSTOVE. Answer:	I am really not sure but I used more 3 times. I only cleaned it with soft sponge and when it's still hot . The grill still looks as new not like others I bought got scratched after first used . The most of all this product is very easy to clean .

Answer:	this pan has hole for drain oil, so you need to put some bowl or tray underside to hold dripping oil, you can use gas stove but make sure there is space for the dripping tray...
Question:	Can I use it on my gas stove or do I have to buy a portable gas stove
Answer:	I do not recommend it to be used on gas stove because of the way drain hall is designed will not fit with regular gas stove. It would work best with portable gas stove and heat resistant drain bowl. :)

Answer:	Looking at the previous answers, looks like it used to be made in the usa, but now it looks like it's made in china. In the product details, it says it's made in china as of 5-28-17.

Answer:	No, you cannot use it without the legs. I looked at this too. The propane connection assembly extends lower than the metal shield around the burner. The legs do not have a lot of adjustment, maybe an inch or two. I have the stove packed away with my camping gear and cannot verify the exact amount of adjustment or lowest cooking height.
Question:	I would purchase this to do pressure canning outside. Is there a problem with the weight of a full canner
Answer:	Weight is not the issue with outside canning..... Question:	How much weight can this handle? I am hosting a lobster bake so I am figuring about 45 pounds/ 21kg will be on the unit at any given time. Thank you
Answer:	I came here to look up this answer. I can say that I've had mine since 2015 and have routinely mashed and boiled wort on the burner. Over 7 gallons. Which would be around 56 pounds. I may have even doubled this up once with two batches at the same time.

Question:	Can this be used indoors
Answer:	Is this burner safe to use indoors? I have just received this burner. The instructions say it should not be used indoors because of the danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Yet I read about people using it indoors. I wanted to use it in my kitchen in emergencies (when the power goes out). The kitchen does have a window I could open if necessary. The kitchen is also in a open space adjoining family room and dining room.

Answer:	I would say the average is about 3 hours. Usually have the setting on about medium for cooking and medium-high for boiling water. We use it on our commercial fishing boat in AK so it is used 2-3 times a day for about 6-8 weeks. The unit works great for our needs as our main stove is used mostly for warmth. We have used it for the past several years. If you intend to use it a lot, I would buy the propane by the case.

Question:	Does it come with a propane adaptor? If not, what should I get? I am new to propane stoves
Answer:	Yes, it's made to fit the small green bottles but can be adapted to be used on a 5 gallon. You will need to buy an adaptor hose to fit the stove & screw on to the 5gal bottle. That set up is great for extended camping time.
Question:	The images show two different clasps. Does this model come with the wide or narrow one
Answer:	We just bought this model on Amazon about 3 weeks ago. It has the larger clasp and seemed to work well. Went camping and the ignition/lighter switch was a huge help. Used it for 2 days straight and barely went through 1 small propane tank. Good luck!
Question:	Do you have to use Colleman propane canisters
Answer:	Any 1-pound propane canister will work, as well as hooking up a bulk propane tank via appropriate hoses. Triton is the best camp stove I've ever used. Highly recommended!

Answer:	Canisters can be stored in a dry area for a very long time. If the metal bottom shows any rust they should be used immediately or disposed in a safe manner.
Question:	How much can you cook with one can
Answer:	Also, my Hubby and I seem to do fine on one can going out for 3 night. That's coffee and breakfast every morning and dinner at night. Cooking in 45-70 degree weather at 7500-8000feet. When tent camping with the Xterra, I use an old 8 cup aluminum perculator that takes 8-10 minutes to be done. Bacon/sausage and egg scramble takes another 8-10 minutes, and dinner steak with veggies takes about 20 minutes on really low with foil on top....a can of chili would take a out 2-3 minutes, Mac n cheese is like coffee...8-10 minutes. I'm getting a good 90 minutes on a can being conscious of that precious resource and cooking out of the wind and screened on 2 sides; using foil or lid over meal to facilitate cooking, and usually sticking to around medium flame, unless it's coffee. The last 3 night trip this past week, still has fuel from 3 weeks ago and lasted us another chili dinner, coffee and breakfast and still has maybe 1/6th if the can...that last inch. I'm confident I could get another breakfast with coffee or maybe spaghetti dinner before it was out
