Answer:	My pleasure! Those lighters are an awesome addition to any "prep" kit. You know how in the scary movies when it is super dark, someone will light a match for light, but it burns their fingers after about ten seconds and they are again plunged into darkness. Not so with these lighters! Because they have a small wick that is saturated in lighter fluid, the flame lasts literally until you snuff it out by blowing it out! I love mine and not because I am a hard-core preparedness nut, I simply like to have the most basic survival tool known to man, fire, at my disposal no matter the circumstances, weather conditions, or presence of additional gear. Answer:	The container does NOT contain fuel when it arrives at your door. You must add lighter fluid, the type sold at virtually every convenience store on the planet for probably less than $2. Simply follow the directions for filling the chamber which if memory serves me correct, you simply fill from the bottom by prying open the bottom and saturating the interior chamber with the lighter fluid. I think that it is a safety feature, instead of having a lot of liquid lighter fluid in the chamber, the lighter fluid you add soaks some absorbent material that lines the inner chamber and keeps the wick ready to go when you need a flame. This is the best survival source of fire I have in my inventory hands down! You know how in scary movies when the victim's light a match to see in the pitch dark, but the flame burns out quickly and the person is then swallowed by the giant whatever? Well, with this device, you can light the wick and have a steady, large flame with which to see the "whatever" well enough to kick the snot out of it before it gets YOU! Great gift idea as well!!

Answer:	Hello Sarah, The instructions call for the use of lighter fluid, the type that is used for Zippo type lighters, NOT gasoline! an explosion would almost certainly result from using gasoline! The idea of using lamp/torch fluid is a good idea, the only question I would have about whether that type of fluid would work would have to do with the combustability of lamp/torch fuel. When the strike portion of these lighters are not in use, they are soaking in the lighter fluid, the strike portion actually has a wick, very similar to a tikki torch just much smaller. When you strike the torch portion against the side of the lighter, sparks ignite the lighter fluid that is soaked into the wick. Lighter fluid is highly combustable and a flame is quickly established. I simply do not have much experience with lamp/torch fluid to say with any certainty whether that type of fluid would ignite the wick when exposed to the small amount of sparks produced when the the striker is swiped against the side of this lighter? Perhaps it would? I have limited experience with torches, but when I have lit them in the past, I have used an open flame to get the torch fuel to burn and I am not certain that sparks would be sufficient to cause combustion? If I had some torch fuel I would gladly perform an empirical study for you but I simply don't have access to torch fuel at the moment. If I were in your position I would purchase this product and fill it with the required lighter fluid because these lighters are valuable additions to any survival kit, camping kit, or for general use lighting candles etc. I have these in my every earthquake kit, my car, my wife's car, my daughter's home and vehicles... Answer:	Yes, but you can replace the wick very easily. Go to YouTube and watch a demonstration at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y1cJYnu82I. The video is on the channel for SurvivalKingK1 in case the link I pasted does not work. I think the video does a better job of describing how to replace the wick than I could stumble through with a lengthy explanation. I have these lighters in every vehicle, our bug out backpacks that all family members have, and I think they are absolutely necessary to have because of their multiple light capability. You know, like when you get stuck in an abandoned mine shaft, instead of the pesky wooden match that will burn your fingers after a few seconds of light, this lighter will allow you to have light long enough to find the ax murderer who has been laying in wait for just such an occasion (kidding of course). Now, where to buy a wick of this small size is anyone's guess, but I use the wick that can be purchased at any Wal-Mart that fits typical outdoor Tiki Torches. Question:	what's the diameter of the magnesium rod itself
Answer:	I did a test with a small amount. I would guess about a tablespoon. First I tried lighting my tinder with only my rod and striker. Nothing. Then I added this magnesium. It lit up instantly. I bought it for emergency use so I have no idea how many fires I'll get but I highly recommend this product. Also the seller was great. I had questions and emails were answered quickly. I would guess many fires depending on the conditions and skills of the person using it. If I knew how to post pics I would show how great it works.

Answer:	No gloves needed. The tiny pieces are not really that sharp. The material is so light weight it requires negligible pressure from your fingers to handle it. It doesn't stick to your fingers any more than damp sand. Its not toxic either. I usually don't handle it much anyway, just dump a small portion onto a surface and push it into a neat pile with my knife. Magnesium is softer than steel and doesn't form very sharp edges like steel when it it shaved into these small pieces. I've found i really only use it in the very wettest conditions anyway to help dry out damp tinder.

Answer:	I agree with M A S: I just load my chimney starter with charcoal, place the nugget on the grill charcoal grate, light it, and place the filled chimney on top. Within 15 - 25 minutes, you'll have hot charcoal, ready to cook!

Answer:	The nuggets are basically wood shavings and wax, shaped into a half round, that are used to start the fire ie instead of say paper. It should work but I would check on the side of your stove to see if it is listed. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Tina, I have a Kamado Joe and that is the reason for my purchasing the nuggets. They are amazing. One nugget is all you need to use. Build a small bed of hardwood charcoal, rest the nugget on it and then stack charcoal over the nugget. Light the nugget and cover with charcoal. If I am in a hurry, I sometimes use two nuggets. I cannot tell you how easy firing up my Joe is with these nuggets. I do not know if anyone has advised you, but I find removing the ash hopper lets more air in and my Joe heats up more quickly.
