Question:	The title says 10 pack but the size gives 1 or 5 pack options. Which do you get
Answer:	I got just one. I have used it multiple times and it seems like it will last quite a bit longer. The product works really well I would recommend it. The 5 or 10 pack is up to you. Best if you scrape the first layer off and you can use a knife instead of the steel stick that comes with it. Worth the price and does work after a few scrapes of the outer layer.

Answer:	You must scrape off the black protective covering on striker bar part before it will spark at all. The black covering is to protect it from rusting. That's true for most of the fire starter bars. Have fun. Once that black protective coating is scraped off, I've never had an issue with any magnesium/flint combined fire starters.

Educated in USA, used USA advantages paid for by tax payers but when given a chance to give back by creating USA jobs... nope, they create Chinese jobs. Pure greed.

Answer:	I just measured the container it is 2 7/8" long so i would say 2 3/4" is the longest length of match you could fit in this container. Hope that helps.

Answer:	There are no "stormproof" strike-anywhere matches available. However, UCO makes excellent regular strike anywhere matches. With a quick dip in turpentine, nail polish or wax, you can make excellent water-resistant strike-anywhere matches.I also like to include some of the coated strike-anywhere matches with my stromproof matches. This way, should all my strikes become wet, you can use a strike anywhere match to light up a stromproof match!And btw, if you can swing the price, ($28, very reasonable, when you see the quality,) check out K&M matchcases. They're waterproof to 2,000psi, easily open with cold, stiff or injured hands, and have a very high quality button compass installed. I'm tight with a buck, but the K&M's quality is unbelievably high.

Answer:	If the strike pad is inside the container and the container remains sealed, the Match Kit will continue to function well into the next couple of decades. I have had several similar purchased in the 80's that are still like new.

Answer:	No, but they come with four or five extra strikers. I've never tried to wet a striker and then let it dry out to see if it works again.

Answer:	They are not. You need the z fold for that.

Answer:	The FDA requires all medical products whether a needle, syringe, even band aides to have a shelf life. This does not mean they are not good after this point, most are good indefinite.

Answer:	Best practice for "minimal" trauma kit - one Israeli bandage, one pack of compressed gauze (Z-pack or NAR, both on Amazon), one tourniquet, EMT scissors. Say someone is shot in the thigh -- (1) Apply the tourniquet well above the wound, if possible, (2) use the shears to cut the pants away from the wound(s), (3) place the wound pad from the Israeli over the wound (if two holes, put it over the larger), (4) put the z-pack over the second hole, (5) wrap the Israeli as per instructions. There are many good vids on You Tube showing you how to apply one of these. Also, good videos on tourniquets. I have both a Swat-T and a Recon Medical Cat-style in my kit. The SWAT is very useful for "little people", where the CAT-style may not fully compress, It can also act as an impromptu "ace" bandage, or wrapper to hold a dressing in place (for that "extra" wound, where you would otherwise only have a handkerchief or bandana to hold the people juice inside. Seriously, for everyone -- go watch the videos, you may never see a major trauma in your life, or you may be in your car tomorrow and witness an accident with a major bleed. It's worth a few minutes to learn this stuff.

Answer:	To people who have not opened their bucket; you need to open it. Opening the bucket does not harm the foods' shelf life. All of the food within the bucket is in its own sealed packet. You need to open to make sure you have the entire contexts advertised and to check for damaged packets.
Question:	What kind of materials is the knife made of? Will it rust when it dropped into the water
Answer:	Items such as this can (and do) have a ten to twenty-five year shelf life IF YOU STORE THEM PROPERLY. Keep them out of direct sunlight. Avoid excessive temperatures (above 70 degrees). Don't let them freeze (55 degrees for a low). I have mine in my bedroom closet. Also, this is for unopened product. Once you open a bag... it's anyone's guess. I'd also strongly recommend a bung wrench to open the pails. Good luck.

So you would have to store the "leftovers" in order to do what you are asking. This might fall in the parameters of your question or not - just thought I would add it.)
