Question: | When did Coleman start selling tents without rain fly's |
Answer: | The tent has an integrated rain fly. There's a video on the Coleman site that shows it performing. For me though, I'd buy the optional rain fly accessory for added protection and ventilation. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are there any other differences between this one and the Deluxe Version Cot besides the lenght |
Answer: | This pretty is pretty short. It says it is for people 5'7" or less. I got the deluxe because I'm 5'10" - plenty long for me, but too short for my 6'6" husband. I had to find an extra long cot for him. He was surprised they made any cots his size. |
Question: | Can someone please tell me the difference between the Coleman ComfortSmart Bunkhouse Deluxe Folding Cot and the Coleman ComfortSmart Folding Cot I am trying to figure out the differences besides the price and the word DELUEX |
Answer: | I ordered the deluxe based on the sizing chart on Amazon. It said 69 x 25 x 15. When it arrived it was actually 79 x 30 x 15. Too big for the area so now sending it back. Dimensions are incorrect online |
Question: | Have you used it for camping in a tent? Also, is the pad removable |
Answer: | pad is removeable. Yes at my old age of 68 I camped in a tent with this cot..I will say I also had a memory foam mat that i placed on top of the mattress and slept very well for 4 nights.. Did I miss my real bed? YES but this was the best cot for my back and didn't have a backache at all. |
Question: | How much does it weigh |
Answer: | The product description says it weighs about 19.5 pounds. |

User questions & answers
Question: | waterproof |
Answer: | Yes, very waterproof. My husband used it to go deer hunting in a downpour, so it was a good test of the waterproofing. He discovered it is a summer tent, with great ventilation, which he didn't want in a winter storm. It was barely large enough for him or two smaller children. It sets up easily too. |
Question: | shipping |
Answer: | You could set it up on a ship. Make sure to wear your flippie floppies while doing so. |
Question: | Can you ship to Paris? how much will it dust |
Answer: | I live in an arid region in the Caribbean and I ordered this tent in 2016, 4 years ago. I just opened it again last night for the first time in years and set it up in my lockdown back garden which is on the ground (more like sand here on the equator) to have a spontaneous outside camping night. Well next to being virtually in a new bought state with no discoloration, or time induced damage the tent was virtually dustless .. I can know as I have severe allergies and hayfever. I swear it also rooted the weeds that were growing and sweeped the back porch clean of dust&sand too. exiting the tent I felt like I freshly showered and my clothes were folded too! Highly recommended |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I remove the gas cylinder before it is empty for storage |
Answer: | Absolutely, you wouldn't want to store the gas cylinder attached to burner for an extended period of time. |
Question: | How much does it weigh |
Answer: | On my kitchen scale the full gas canister weighs 30.12 oz. and the stove components weigh 24.76 oz. When weighed together as a unit I got 54.86 oz. = 3.43 pounds. |
Question: | How long does it normally last for one full propane tank? Say, if I cook for about 20 minutes every time, how many times can a propane tank be used |
Answer: | Usually a tank will last 8 hrs if you leave it at medium heat to low. Depending in the space required to heat. So if you the calculations. 20 min X 3 = 60 min 3X8=24. So about 24 times give or take a few. |
Question: | Is it sturdy enough to set a cast iron skillet ontop of and cook food without worrying about damaging the burner setup |
Answer: | Hello. I take this stove camping and canoeing all the time. I use a large, heavy, cast iron skillet with a 11" base, 12" top, 2.25" sides to do my cooking. However, to maintain a hotter oil temperature for frying fish you must cover the cast iron skillet with a lid otherwise the oil will not get hot enough to boil. I purchased a commercial aluminum lid for a stock pot to use. NOW, LISTEN CAREFULLY, the factory propane cylinder PLASTIC BASE WILL NOT WORK and IS DANGEROUS TO USE with this setup. The cast iron skillet I use is much to heavy for safe use and with boiling oil you are heading for disaster. Here is the SOLUTION for a larger, very sturdy base. Get a new or used 12" non-stick fry pan. Take the handle off (grind, bend, or unscrew). File any sharp edges. Drill a 3/8" hole in the center of the pan. Get (1) 3/8" x 1 1/2" or 2" long bolt (depending how deep the non-stick fry pan is), lock nut, 2 washers. Get about 6" of 4" diameter PVC plastic pipe. Get a 4" PVC plastic pipe end cap with a flat bottom. Press, or glue, the PVC end cap onto the 6" long PVC pipe. Drill a 3/8" hole through center. Now assemble stand: non-stick fry pan cooking side faces away or to ground. PVC pipe is now all 1 piece and rests on top of flat surface of fry pan. 3/8" bolt with washer goes inside pipe, through fry pan and is bolted with washer and lock nut making the entire unit 1 piece. DO NOT tighten the 3/8" bolt so tight that it splits the plastic PVC, just snug. The 3/8" bolt should not extend past the lip of the fry pan or it will not sit level. The 1 pound cylinder will fit inside with single burner stove attached. You have just made a much safer base for your Coleman single burner stove. "WARNING" You must still exercise EXTREME CAUTION and CAREFULNESS when cooking with this setup and especially when using HOT OIL (wear oven mitts when removing HOT skillet). You can vary the diameter of the base fry pan for sturdiness, or the PVC pipe height. The cooking surface has now been raised but as long as the ground is solid and flat, or the table sturdy enough, I have not had an issue with tipping. There is a small space between the PVC pipe and the 1 pound cylinder. You can wedge a small twigs in, or plastic, whatever works to tighten the cylinder so it does not shift around or turn while cooking. I pack the PVC and base as 1 piece but you can unbolt them if you have to make 2 smaller items. Best Regards, and Enjoy Cooking With Your Coleman. |

About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.
In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.
- Portable camp kitchen offers a stable cooking surface and ample storage space
- 31.5 x 21.3-inch food prep area ideal for chopping ingredients
- 27.8 x 20.5-inch side table accommodates most Coleman stoves and coolers

User questions & answers
Question: | What model is the stove, Coleman Guide Series |
Answer: | Yes it is that series. Enjoy! |
Question: | can I use it indoor |
Answer: | We used one indoors that we bought new for $10.00 in 1974 at a store closing. Used it for a couple of years to cook and can on. It was in an old house that I am sure was well ventilated though. I would not recommend it in more airtight homes. If you do, have a CO detector and use Coleman Fuel and not the gas. |
Question: | what is the difference between this stove and and the coleman guide series powerhouse dual fuel |
Answer: | The Powerhouse dual fuel is bigger (in width, length and higth) so it can host big pots. The Powerhouse dual fuel has a main burner (the right burner) that is more powerful too. The left burner is the same in both stoves. The Powerhouse has a bigger tank to compensate for consumption of the bigger power. |
Question: | Is this made in China |
Answer: | No. USA |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this be used on a different brand of canopy tent |
Answer: | I am not sure! I have not tried that. But I think both the solid walls and screen walls just hook to the canopy so it may be possible. One thing we have done is to fold down the upper portion of the solid wall.. Kind of nice to corral dogs, let in some wind, etc. |
Question: | Is it possible to use the screen walls with the sun walls |
Answer: | Yes, It does work. However, the corners are semi-opened. This walls attached with elastic clips, so there is a thin gap in each leg, which allows air to flow. If you buy the canopy, it comes with just one wall. |
Question: | can i get 3 walls for it to semi inclose it |
Answer: | IF it is the eaved 13 x 13 which actually has a foot print of 10 x 10, then yes it will work just fine, this is what I have and it works. The outer dimensions of the actual canopy are 13 x 13, but the support pole (legs) are at 10 x 10, an the sun wall attaches to the legs. |
Question: | Will this attach to the 13 x 13 canopy |
Answer: | Not waterproof but is water resistant. Used it while it rained for three days. Only got a few drops from around the seams. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this Coleman pack-a-way 4in1 table all aluminum? Lots of mixed answers.. what is the top made of? Thanks |
Answer: | The tablessings top is a thin particle board. Not metal in any way. The legs are aluminum, ads is the frame, but not the top. |
Question: | How do you open the table to take it apart once it is out of the box? I opened the two latches but the table won't open. It stays flat together |
Answer: | It slides apart. Just push down on one side and pull up on the other. |
Question: | is this for 2 tables or 1 table |
Answer: | It is 2 table tops. They can combine into 1 table or leve separate. Each stands on its own. Also provided is extra 4 inch legs so 1 table can be set behind and slightly higher than the other. This creates a back wall type set up 4 inches high. It is great for putting spices and condiments on rhe shorter table up against the back. The taller table helps keep them from falling. Like a step type set up. When putting away u unscrew the legs. Snap into holders under the table top. Then 2 tops come together and hook to each other. Single handle carries both. Like a hard cover suit case |
Question: | What are the dimensions when folded? The specs say 24" x 16" x 3", but the tables are each 31.5" and it doesn't look like they fold in the middle |
Answer: | 31.5" would be the width. The top doesn't fold at all. I don't know where they are getting the 24" from. The way it works is that each half stands alone and the legs fold up under it. The leg extensions are screwed into the folded legs, so you unscrew those and there is a place to store them on the back side of the table surface. So all the leg parts nest into the back. Then you lay the two back sides together and they slide into place, creating what looks like a case. It is rather a good design and very compact. It took me a minute to figure out how to decouple the two pieces when I first bought it because sliding them apart doesn't exactly come to mind first. Plan on having 32x16x3 for storage space. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this full size griddle fit the coleman road trip 285 griddle |
Answer: | If it is the Coleman it does and it works great |
Question: | Should the grills be removed before the griddle is put in place |
Answer: | On this griddle, the lid will not close completely with griddle in place. |
Question: | What is the advantage of this instead of using a (more versatile) double griddle on top of the grill |
Answer: | Not sure there is an advantage, would depend on how much is being cooked. We like the food cooked on the griddle instead of the rack. The one advantage that I see is there is more usable space in the full sized griddle, the double griddle with the division would decrease the space to cook on, longer foods would be harder to manage. |
Question: | Will this griddle fit the LXX model |
Answer: | Yes. I have the LXX and it fits. Just don't try to close the lid at all. Also, do not try to use the griddle if the outdoor temperature is below 60°F. The griddle cools itself down very easily and does not work well in cooler temps, especially if there is s breeze. In a walled shade shelter it might do better. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How long is the strap |
Answer: | 70 psi |
Question: | Would this fit a lunch and 20-32oz sports drink, plus ice packs |
Answer: | No, they require a tube. I bought tubes with them |
Question: | Is this cooler collapsible |
Answer: | The 700 x 23 tire will fit on your rim. |
Question: | What are the interior dimensions |
Answer: | Yes it will fit assuming you pick the 28c size. You get 1 pair, 2 tires. I’ve put 300 miles on these and they are great. I would say as good as the Conti 4000’s. As all conti tires they are a bit hard to get on the rim. So watch out for pinches before inflating to full. |
