The young salesman was taking a stroll after a hard day’s work selling typewriters, and spotted a new type of lamplight in a drugstore window in Brockton, Alabama. Answer:	I can't answer for this specific model, but I grew up in Japan and we made rice all the time in a rice cooker very much like this (we got ours twenty years ago so this has a few more bells and whistles I'm sure) and can speak about generalizations. When we would make a large batch of rice, we could eat it for two days or so (although it rarely lasted that long) and the rice was still decent, if not great. I've found that after about 12 to 18 hours, it's still fine for covering it with stir-fry or something like that, but it's not really good enough to eat plain like it is when it's fresh.Update - I have since purchased this model and the 12 hour keep warm is a bit confusing. What the feature does is it holds the rice at a slightly lower temp for twelve hours to keep the quality then shifts to the standard keep warm setting which keeps the rice safe for longer. I've had my rice in this cooker for 3 days and it was still good. There was a bit of a loss in quality, but not much.

Answer:	This model can even make cakes, and yes, it can be used as a slow cooker. However, be sure to clean throughly all parts before making rice. The taste could transfer to the next dish if not cleaned properly.

Answer:	Not a spigot (as for dispensing drinks) but a drain at the bottom of one short side - for releasing excess water from ice-melt. It really is not a drink cooler unless those drinks are in cans or bottles :-)

Answer:	Yes it would hold them. I usually have a mixture of bottled beer and liquor in my cooler so it's legit! 

Answer:	I just tried the NON insulated 27oz. And 64oz. Klean Kanteen Classic bottles and they do NOT fit inside the 16 can size while standing up, with the loop cap. I'm almost certain it would fit perfectly with a flat cap like the bamboo one. The lid stays about half an inch open with my kanteens.

Answer:	I know this is far after the fact, but when I have any problem with tears, leaks, rips or cracks I use E-6000 glue for the repair. I use it on everything.... Work boots and even on patches for my husband's work jeans. It holds up in the wash, dryer and even winter weather when I use it on outside repairs.

Answer:	This is not a good cooler. The strap ripped off the original cooler purchased, causing to hit the ground & crack - making it no longer waterproof. The mfg was kind enough to replace it when I complained - 2nd cooler, the corner of the liner has again cracked off with the 1st use. The hard plastic liner cannot endure any usage & the shoulder strap cannot carry any weight. I give this cooler an "F" & was so excited by many of the features described. This is not worth the money - go for the Yeti or any other cooler would be my advice

Answer:	Outer dimensions for this cooler are: 15.5 inches tall, 15 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep (this is taking the handle and pivot points into consideration for storage purposes. Inner dimensions are: 13 inches tall, 10.75 inches wide and 8.125 inches deep. Hope this helps!

Question:	How strong is the lid - could a child stand on it without breaking it
Answer:	Yes it is hinged by two plastic pins on either side. They will pop out with pressure. Mine pops out if I try to put too much in it. It is easy to pop back in, just put one side in the whole and then put the other side towards the front and slide it to the back and it will pop back in place. This has happened multiple times on mine and now worse for ware.

Answer:	Take a corner and twist it with your hands after lighting. If the burning residue becomes ash powder and does not clump, then smell the smell of natural protein after burning. If it is basically silk, it can be judged. If it becomes a hard lump, there is a smell of plastic burning, it is chemical fiber paper or not 100% mulberry silk

Answer:	This unit will keep things about 20 degrees cooler than the outside temp at best. I freeze a couple of water bottles or a freezer pack and it will keep things cold much better. Takes about 10 hrs or more before the frozen bottles melt enough to drink with the outside temp at over 90 degrees.
