Question:	Where was this manufactured
Answer:	The US. Company offices are in LA. They do, however, manage some manufacturing in China. Why? It's cheaper and, therefore, they make more money. So, where is this particular offering manufactured? Look in the box. Mine has been wonderful, more than expected. Only prejudice will allow someone to write off Chinese made goods, as happened to Japanese made good in the 50s and 60s. There isn't much any more in the US that isn't Chinese made or has components that are Chinese made. I knew a friend who sold audio equipment, back in the 80s, when some guy walked in and demanded a Kenwood, a real American made system. My friend walked back in and brought out the box, Kenwood name facing forward. WhY? Because Kenwood only made the outside by that time, the innards were Japanese. The customer was well-satisfied. You like Nike shoes? Made in China, SE Asia--anywhere labor is cheap. But Americans pay big bucks for these "American" shoes, right?
Question:	What are the skillet sizes? The description isn't really clear
Answer:	I have the Dutch Oven Pot with Lid and a regular skillet. The skillet is a 10" diameter cooking surface. The Dutch Oven camp pot is about 9" in diameter cooking surface. No the Lid does NOT fit both.

Answer:	Ours was pre-seasoned.

How to Season Cast Iron

1) Wash your cast iron thoroughly and fully dry.

2) Spread a thin layer of high heat shortening or vegetable oil on the cooking surface.

3) Place upside down on middle oven rack at 375 for an hour. Place foil or a pan under to catch drips.

4) After an hour turn off heat and let the cast iron cool completely in the oven.

Seasoning is only necessary when the protective coating has worn off. Never wash cast iron with soap. After use, scrub cast iron with hot water and a stiff brush. Fully dry after scrubbing and occasionally add a thin layer of oil to the still warm pan. Time between seasoning depends on use and care. Under normal use seasoning is recommended annually.

Answer:	The plates, bowls, & cups I would say yes to being dishwasher safe. The silverware however I wouldn't trust. In my opinion the handles are cheaply made... The Enamel coating used can withstand cooking on an open fire while out camping, (same coating used on pots, pans, & coffee pots.)

Question:	Will the whole set (3 pieces) fit inside a 8-quart stockpot or pressure cooker, without the handle interfering with closing the lid on stockpot
Answer:	yes. I have 2 and believe both would.
Question:	Is the long handle (for locking) removable
Answer:	No it's attached to a welded clasp. You could remove it but it wouldn't work the way it was intended nor would it lock any more.
Question:	Does this come with a bag to store it in
Answer:	I don't think mine did but I see 1 reviewer mentioned a drawstring plastic bag. Word of caution, the copper clad pan on mine had a plastic coating that needs to be removed before use. I didn't see it until too late - tried boiling some water on the stove and the plastic coating burned up immed and made a charred mess of the pan bottom that was a pain to remove. All in all not a bad cook set but pretty light weight. I'd say designed more for back-packing - cooking for 1 or 2 people max. Hope that helps.

Answer:	The capacity of the pot is 2 C / 16 fl oz. (I measured how much water it would hold with a measuring cup, since its capacity is visibly less than 3 C). The diameter of the pan across the inner rim is 6.25" and at the base of the pan is 5".

Answer:	Yup! I throw it in the dishwasher all the time!
Question:	Just recieved this set but am worried about how thin the pans are, has anyone had any experience with these over a Coleman Camp Stove
Answer:	Yes I'm a chef by trade and camper by heart. I have had this set on three trips now and I love them. Here's the thing Coleman stoves are like cooking with a blowtorch so when using the skillet use lowest heat possible and at times I'll remove from heat for a few seconds at a time and because the pan is thin it keeps its heat so food still cooks. I have even cooked eggs with great results (just be sure to spray with non stick). As for the pots you can use full blast for boiling. I have even used them on a "pocket rocket" with great results. Can't beat the price or the weight of these pans. Hope this helps.

Answer:	There is not a storage bag included, but all pieces nest together nicely.

Answer:	The coffee kettle does NOT have a strainer for the grounds. The kettle is just a smaller pot with a lid. You have to make "Cowboy" coffee or heat the water for a French press (which is what I use).
