| Answer: | No it isn't. Very few backpacks are waterproof. Having said that, it does shed water pretty well. The actual shell of it won't let water through but where you might get some water through is if the rain runs down your back and then goes through the nylon. You could spray it with some sort of water repellant to reduce the risk of that. Think of the shell as sort of an umbrella for keeping things dryer. I have ridden in rain with mine and nothing got wet. It wasn't a serious downpour but a steady rain. I sit somewhat vertically on my bike and that likely helps. |
