Answer:	The middle pouch is about 3 or 4 inches wide no pockets or zippers. It's pretty roomy I loaded it up with souvenirs while I was walking around Japan. Answer:	It is too narrow to fit. You might be able to squeeze it in depending if the notebook is flexible and it is not too filled with paper.
Question:	I do hare scrambles on dirt bike, it's 2 hours through woods rocks etc. Will this handle branches hitting it and occasionally crashing
Answer:	Hi, for sure it would survive branches hitting it but if you were to fall on it the pressure might blow the seals on the bladder. You can always get replacement bladders though.
