The hip straps add to its comfortable design. Price is good too as I’ve seen some go for $40-60 dollars for a durable water pack. Overall pleased with this hiking. Lastly, I wouldn’t mind a little lighter version than this bag without compromising the durability.

Answer:	At the time of purchase, they were advertising as American made. It was a factor in the purchase for me.
Question:	is this item good for a music festival (coachella) where you'll be wearing it and potentially dancing with it for 4+ hours
Answer:	You'll have to start the flow like normal when you're are drinking from it. Then quickly bring the hose down to make it free flow. You might have to squeeze it from closing. I normally just keep my fingers around the nosal to prevent my dog from licking it and just have her like my fingers. Otherwise fill a bowl if that works better for you.
Question:	The bladder this came with was horrible. Did any of you have a horrible plastic taste from the bladder? I had water in mine for about five hours
Answer:	There are protected pockets inside the pack. Unless you poured water directly on the pack you shouldn’t have any problems.
Question:	My backpack just arrived. I don't know how to open the lid of the bladder. Do I need to break the little plastic band on top of the opening
Answer:	Yes! There is a very nice spacious pocket on the back of the bag for wallet, snack bars, keys, etc. There is also an opening to run head phones from the back of the bag. Then on the waist pads, there are zip pockets big enough for a phone or snack bars. This hydration backpack is amazing, especially for the price!!!

Question:	The hose does not detach from the bladder. How can the hose dry out completely between uses
Answer:	It should be compatible. Source actually has had a few different styles of connection incorporated in their bladders over time, and there are a couple differences between connection systems between their "tactical" product line and their "outdoor" product line (primarily geared towards bicycling). The one currently in use in their outdoor line, of which the Widepack Hydration Reservoir System is a part, is called the "SQC™ - SOURCE Quick Connect system" and the one incorporated into the tube replacement you are considering is "Source QMT™ Quick Mate Technology". A check of the Widepack system page on the Source Outdoors website reveals that they explicitly assert that the Widepack SQC is QMT compatible. http://sourceoutdoor.com/en/reservoirs/11-widepac-hydration-system.html Some Very early examples, i.e. from years ago, of their hydration bladders do not have any disconnect feature at all at the bladder junction, so if you have one of those you may be unable to swap it out; if however the tube on your Widepac is removable via some system, the QMT tube should mate with it fine according to Source. Answer:	No issues at all. The functionality of this pac is outstanding.
Question:	Can I put hot water into the bladder
Answer:	It’s an average size. You can be a little on the heavier side even if needed to be.
Question:	Dose the hydration backpack heavy while full with 2 liter bladder
Answer:	I don’t see why anyone would ask you why you’re carrying a “military bag”, camouflage is not only to the military anymore. If you add specific branch/ name patches then that would be strange and seem like you’re trying to act a little more military than you are (since you stated you’re a civilian). If you’re just looking for a new back pack and happen to like Camo there’s nothing wrong with that. I would not recommend this as a backpacking (long hikes in the woods and camping) bag as it has little support but as a school backpack it’s great (I have mine in black)

Answer:	Man I don't have the size of that o-ring but I recommend just going to a real hardware store not a home Depot or a Lowe's a good hardware store that has a lot of fasteners they should have a whole section of old rings and you can find something that will fit
