Answer:	It isn't vintage. Very colorful and only would be considered tacky if you put it in the wrong place/room. The shade is bright, but the base colors are kind of muted. I have it in a 6 year old grandchilds room with a color changing bulb!

Answer:	No, but it's only in two or three pieces and my husband had it assembled in minutes. He said it was really easy. It even came with a bulb, which was very convenient.

Answer:	The color of the Claudette lamps are more like the Amazon photo here where there is the wall in the background or the other photo where there are two in a living room, so not as blue as the Amazon photo at the top of the page. The lamp is also more transparent and is a softer color than the "greener" of the photos. But the color of the lamps does change as to the time of day & other surrounding light, whether natural light, direct sunlight or lightbulb. The lamp look bluer when the lamp is turned on in the evening. That being said, this is a beautiful lamp, blue-green or green-blue depending on the time of day. I also thought I wanted a "bluer" lamp but this one is so gorgeous, as to color and unique style, I have not looked back. It looks incredible with the morning sunlight shining through it, but also in different ways at other times or day. I wanted to get a lamp this time that was special; more than one that would "just do", and this one is. As someone said, It also catches my eye so often when I enter the room. The lamp shade is true white, which I wanted and as others have noted, to still see it as true white once you turn it on in the evening, you need to use a Daylight type of LED bulb. A 150 watt (equivalent) works great, but you also can get a bulb that is less bright instead, if you want. The light switch is just on & off, not 3-way, so pick the bulb with the amount of light you want most.

Answer:	A good rule of thumb is to find a table lamp that is approximately 30″ tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the shade. But it depends on what you prefer, the lamp is 20" tall, a little short but it may work.

Answer:	A 25 watt bulb is all you would need, I wouldn't try anything more than 25 watts.. The lighting from the bulb is efficient enough and bright. It requires 25 watt and that is what you should use.

Answer:	I just went to Ace hardware and bought one. Or you can try and email Tadpole manufacturer customer service to try to get one. You need a "small" 25 watt bulb (look at info on wire and bottom of lamp or instructions); there are different length 25 watt chandelier bulbs. You need to purchase the right size to fit.

Answer:	The Table Top is 23 1/2 long and 15 1/2 wide. It took a little patience to get the bottom dowels in place. I think I used a little wood glue however I have found it to be very sturdy holding heavy reference books in the bottom basket. It has served me well as a table next to the chair I use to do most of my typing on my laptop. The surface space accommodates my work needs with room for books, notes and often a drink. I am very pleased with this as side table.
