| Answer: | I used it on a wet saw as well but not long enough to see it fade before we got a CNC saw. I always wipe it off because I'm anal about the dust and grit inside but I have seen ones years on and the numbers do fade but much later than the non stainless variety. The edges don't chip and rust like Stanley's do. The head/clip being taller makes it easier to measure to the blade as well without having to bring the blade down so close. Also better for grabbing the edge on long measures across slabs. I could go on about the case and stuff but you get the point, i love this tape more than any other for granite work. And I think I have maybe 7 different tapes in searching for the one. |
