Answer:	Children that size typically don't play slow pitch softball or use wooden bats. Are you sure you don't want a baseball or fast pitch softball bat? I think kids that size usually use a 28-30" bat depending on their grip and upper body strength. Also, you probably want a composite bat. This is made of maple.

Answer:	It is very durable and has a hard lining for the bottom that helps but it will fold over if upright with not much in it, my daughter loves the bag she feels like it’s perfect in the dugout with the hook it hold up well to the fence and holds all her gear. Hope this helps

Answer:	No. There’s not really a place to attach a shoulder strap. The straps that are attached to the bag are somewhat long. My son will put those over his shoulder to carry the bag with no problem.
