Answer:	They are not a pure mitten. They have spacing similar to gloves on the inside.

Answer:	If you don't need finger dexterity, mittens would keep your fingers warmer than gloves. If you need finger dexterity as well as warmth, be sure to order at least one size up. These are nice gloves, but the fingers are a little tight. My fingers get cold quickly. I bought a mens' size (larger), and they are warmer.

Answer:	I have two Nikon batteries and keep a fresh one with me all the time. I purchased the Nikon D80 from Amazon as well as the spare battery and have had them for about 5 or 6 years without any problems. We, my wife and I take pictures oround the southeast and take pictures of wildlife almost every day. Will the battery last a lifetime? I don't know if it will last as long as we live but both batteries are still working just fine after being used almost daily for approx. 6 years. Hope this will be of some help......Rich

Answer:	Why take a chance? As many have commented, Amazons stock is probably genuine but they currently have only second party dealers selling these. I had a customer by a 6000 page Brother HL6180DW Toner cartridge from Amazon looked genuine box looked the same but after 1500 copies it took 2 hours to clean up the mess that it made when the toner was blown through the whole printer. This printer had only used the original toner cartridge that came with it. IF you look at the brother customer remarks about the higher capacity cartridges 8000page 12000 page, a lot of people thought it was Amazon that bought a bad lot as they looked pretty close. I recommend office max for Printers and don't use refills and I recommend a Camera store like B&H or Adorama in New York for Batteries as they sell loads of Nikon and their reputation as a camera store is better. The one I bought here is no longer sold as I don't see a picture of it but itr was shot in a year and the original still holds about 80% of its charge after 8 years.
