Answer:	If you want to use the same ExpoDisc with more than one lens, get an ExpoDisc that is at least as large as the largest lens you will be using. You can hold the ExpoDisc over a smaller lens, but if the ExpoDisc is smaller than the camera lens, you can not cover the entire lens with the ExpoDisc. I have used an 82mm ExpoDisc with both 82mm and 77mm lenses. However, I finally got tired of having to hold the ExpoDisc in front of 77mm lenses and I got an additional 77mm ExpoDisc.
Question:	Will this work on a 50mm and 85mm lens for Nikon
Answer:	Yes. The Expo Disc will work with any camera lens. Since you have both an 85mm and 55mm lens, If you get an 85 mm Professional White Balance Filter (Neutral) Expo Disc; it will snap on to the front of the 85mm--and you can also hand hold it over the 55mm lens--without your hand blocking the front of the 55mm lens--and get gray card exposure results right in the middle of the exposure. To meter for an 18% exposure, stand at the subject's position and aim the camera back toward your intended shooting position. Use the camera's meter as seen through the viewfinder to adjust the aperture, shutter speed, or ISO until a proper exposure is indicated.

It is also possible to make exposure adjustments based upon the position of the histogram spike on an ExpoDisc test shot. Adjust the aperture, shutter speed, or ISO until the spike is centered in the histogram.

How Does the ExpoDisc Work?

Your camera’s internal light meter measures the color temperature of light passing through the ExpoDisc to make an “in-camera” color adjustment. This color adjustment is then applied to all subsequent images taken using the custom white balance from the selected light reading.

Question:	for some reason i was unable to burn to dvd after processing a vhs tape. there is a mpg output file. how do i get vidbox to burn that mpg file to dvd
Answer:	Directly after recording a file, it should move to the Step 4 screen which will have the Burn DVD option. Clicking that option should allow burning to disc. If the program fails to burn successfully, you should be able to try again as long as you do not close the program.
Question:	I want to convert old vhs tapes to dvd's my old vcr has only white and yellow cable connections.(no red) will this work on my vcr
Answer:	As has been explained, your machine is apparently so old it only recorded monaural sound. That's why just one audio cable coming out. That's okay, but you might have to finagle to get sound on both channels of your digital recording. Sometimes, if you put just one audio source into the left input of the recorder, it will default to put that same audio on both left and right, so when you play it back on your stereo TV you don't just hear sound from one side of the room. If it does not work that way, you can just get an adapter, one plug in and two plugs out, and thus fill up both audio channels. Super simple and cheap and buy it anywhere, at any stereo shop, or here on Amazon no doubt.
Question:	Does it work for mini dv tapes
Answer:	you don't need it for mini dv, they are already digital. You just need to find the correct wire to connect it to your PC and windows will make the video. for my mini dv I needed a fire wire cable, and a slightly older pc that had a firewire jack.

Answer:	You cant really edit the video with this software. This does a pretty good job converting your 8mm tape to digital files. You install the software, plug the component plugs from your 8mm camera/player to the box. Another cable coming out of the box plugs into your laptop via usb. After that, you startup the software follow the simple prompts until you get to a record screen. Hit play on your camera/player and when the video comes up on your computer screen click the record button. This will create an mpeg video file. Once you create the mpeg video file you can always edit your video files in another video editing application.Once you are done editing your video file you can always burn it to a DVD.

Question:	Have a mac with catalina 10.15.4 the disc will not load, says not compatible. software from the website will not open. any suggestions
Answer:	I'm using Mojave (10.14.6). No problems. You don't need to download any drivers or software. By plugging the device into your USB port, it loads its own drivers. Then, with your input ready to go, you open Quicktime, do a "New Movie Recording" and then on the little dropdown next to the record button within the quicktime window, select "AV TO USB 2.0" for the Camera and "USB 2.0 MIC" for Audio. Hit record and roll the tape (or whatever).
Question:	Installed drivers, then software, then device. in showbiz capture...no device shows up. what should i do
Answer:	make sure cable connections are tight. Try to change the connections to the plugins to front or viceversa. Click play before capturing

Answer:	I have been unable to get this to work on Windows 10. I was able to get it to work on Windows 7, but not my preferred computer. Moreover, I have been unable to remove ArcSoft ShowBiz software from my Windows 10 computer. The normal windows process for uninstalling an app did not work, even in safe mode. I see no uninstaller with the software (which is quite old), so I don't know what I'm going to do.

Answer:	the device records everything that goes through the hdmi port and that includes the high quality sound, for example, when i record call of duty from my xbox360 or a game of dota2 from my pc i get all sounds minus my own of course. there is a narration feature where if you connect a mic to the device you can record your voice also, but i have not tried that feature. what i do is record my voice from my pc and merge the two media with editing software.

Answer:	I haven't had any problems using this program with Windows 10. (It also worked with 8.1 before the upgrade launched - for those who don't want to upgrade yet).

Answer:	I bought Nero Burn Express because I lost my old Roxio (which worked fine); I have 4 computers. I've not been able to make Nero Burn Express work on any of them. For me, it is worthless; I would give it a zero.

Answer:	I haven't tried this program to date. But, on the box under "NOTES" it reads, "On 64 bit operating systems, applications run in 32 bit emulation mode."
